Quick A/N:

IF YOU HAVE NOT READ THE FIRST BOOK IN THIS SERIES, THE REAL RYDELLINGTON, DO SO NOW JUST SO THIS STORY MAKES SENSE. If you already have, keep reading and I hope you enjoy!

(Or if you're too lazy to go and read The Real Rydellington then you can just continue and be a very confused person :D)

Concentrate, Rydel thought to herself, trying to focus on her book rather than her ex-whatever-he-is in the next room over. Besides the fact of him having a title, one thing was clear to her; He was her first love. She couldn't just get over him, as her friends said she should. She could hear him through the wall, tapping pencils on his desk while quietly playing music. No, she wasn't listening through the wall purposely, he was just being very obnoxious.

"Ellington! Be quiet, I'm trying to read!" She yells, hitting the wall in annoyance.

"Maybe you should do that somewhere else! I live here, I can do what I want!" He yells back, the sarcasm extremely easy to identify in his voice.

"And maybe you should quiet down for the sake of the four other people who live in this house!" She yells in reply, making sure to basically scream due to him having increased the volume on his music.

"Unless your brothers are bothered, I feel it doesn't matter!"

This was a new thing that happened on a daily basis. One of them would do something to purposefully annoy the other, so then they would argue through the wall. Cassidy, a good friend of hers, said that they were flirting back and forth because they were still 'in love', but Rydel found it annoying because she surely hated Ellington. He broke her trust, what reason does she have to be in love with him?

"Rydel!" One of her brothers, specifically Riker, calls from downstairs.

"What do you want?" She yells in reply, annoyed that Riker wants her, due to still being angry with him.

"I have someone I want you to meet!" Riker calls back, a cheery ring to his voice.

Who in the world does he know that I don't? Rydel asks herself as she stands from her desk chair, and begins to make her way downstairs.

When she arrives, what she sees is a shocker.

"I think you know Avery, right? Well, I kind of never told you that she's my girlfriend." Riker says, a squeamish tone to his voice.

"How long has this been going on for?" Rydel asks calmly, surprising not only Riker but also herself.

"About two weeks before you brought her over for a girls night? I was surprised that you knew her." Riker says sheepishly, visibly nervous while awaiting Rydel's reaction.

"I'm okay with it, Riker. There's no need to worry. I would only be angry if you had gotten with her through me." Rydel says, placing her hand over her face in frustration.

"Thanks, Rydel!" Riker says, pulling her into an awkward hug. She sighs, knowing Riker just wanted to make himself look good for Avery even though they're currently in an argument.

"Oh, hey Rydel." Ross says, walking into the room, quickly pulling something behind his back. She hears giggles, and knows that Ross is hiding a girl.

"Who did you bring home now, Ross?" Rydel asks, walking towards Ross slowly, seeing pink Converse showing from behind Ross.

"My girlfriend who I wasn't planning on you meeting." Ross says, keeping a grip on the girl behind him.

"Come on, Ross. If Riker can admit to me about his girlfriend, then you can tell me about yours." Rydel says, poking Ross' sides, causing him to giggle.

"Fine. But you're not going to like it." And with that, Ross pulls someone out from behind him, someone she wasn't expecting to see.

"Courtney Eaton? Oh, hi! Um, I better go." Rydel says, quickly running upstairs. On her way up, she almost runs into Ellington, and there's an awkward "Watch where you're going" shared before she ran to her room, grabbing her phone, and calling someone she hadn't been expecting to call just yet.

"Hello?" The person on the other end asks, wondering why Rydel was calling.

"Hey, Cat, it's Rydel. You're not going to believe this, but my suspicions were correct. Ross got a girlfriend. And I can tell it's just for him to distract himself."

So that happened... I typed Rydel, and it was autocorrected to Rydellington... Now we all know what Jessa types way too much on her phone! Anyway, I for some reason already enjoy this story more than I do the horrendous beginning of The Real Rydellington. I wrote the first few sentences as soon as I finished TRR (That's what we'll call it for short considering I'm too lazy to type out the whole title every time) and reading over them, I was confused on where I was going by 'Besides him actually having a title, she knew one thing' No idea, apparently some idea I had over a month ago. I TOLD YOU ALL THE GIRLFRIENDS WOULD BE BROUGHT INTO THE PICTURE MORE! Thanks for volunteering as tributes Cassidy, Avery, Ann-Katrin, and Samantha!

I appreciate votes and comments! Please leave your feedback on this story so far for the beginning, and also thanks so much for so many reads, votes, and comments on TRR!
