Making deals is a part of his life, it's his career. but did he have to let it go this far?
he tries to take your hand in his but you step away.
"Please, I'm just doing my job. you understand, don't you?" He looks desperate but he doesn't try to get close to you anymore. He stays where he is in front of you, trembling slightly in fear. Not fear of you but the fear of losing you. you look up at him and now you both have that tearful look in your eyes. "Let me make it up to you please..?"
his voice Shakes just as much as he does. He sounds like he's holding back sobs. oh how you want to hold him, tell him everything's okay, that you're always going to stay with him. but you're not. you can't forgive him after that. you can't do anything but stare at him in pity. A man who betrayed the one person who loved him through everything. Even his overblot incident.
no matter how much your heart aches to hold him, your mind knows better.
"I don't think I can love you anymore Azul, I'm sorry." and just like that you leave his office. you leave him to regret everything he's done. He knows you deserve better and he wonders maybe if he wasn't like this, things wouldn't have ended.
