The day will come

Alex texted aomine back saying ok and aomines mom came over.
"I can't believe your going to propose to him daiki I'm so proud" aomines mom smiled as she cooked the dinner.

"Thanks mom I've been working up the courage and I had kagamis parent figure keep him busy while I set up." Aomine said as he tore rose Petals off and dropped them onto the floor leading from the door to the table.
"The dinner will be Ready soon so I Hope your almost done setting up" aomines mom said flipping the steak.

"I am all I have to do now is light candles and then go get ready" aomine said as he started to light candles. After a few minutes aomine finished lighting the candles as he walked over to his mom.
"Thanks again mama for helping me I couldn't have dined this without you and Alex" aomine said kissing his mothers cheek. Aomines mom smiled as she looked to her son.

"I'm just glad that you found someone who has made you happy now go go get ready! Ill be leaving after I set dinner both of your plates." Aomines mom smiled as she shoed her son away. Aomine went to his room and pulled out a black suit with a blue tie he put it on as he slid on some dress shoes.
"Hey ma should I slick my hair back?" Aomine yelled to his mom.

"Yes sweetie of course do your hair this is a important night!" His mom yelled back. Aomine then went to the bathroom and used some hair gel to slick his hair back out of his face he walked out of the bathroom and to his mom looking nervous.
"How do I look?" Aomine said as he fiddled with his hands nervously.

"You look handsome my son I'm so proud of you" aomines mom said as she started to tear up as she ran up and hugged her son. "I love you and I want you to know that I'll always be here"
"I love you to mom thank you" aomine said as he hugged his mother tight.

"Alright! I've got to set y'all's plates then I'll be leaving!" Aomine mom said as she grabbed the food and made plates.
"Good because kagami just texted me and said he was on the way home"
"Well I'll be out of your hair! Send me a invitation!" Aomines mom said as she grabbed her keys and phone and left.

About half an hour later there was a jiggle of keys in the door. Aomine jumped up as he sprinted to the door making sure he had the ring in his pocket. Kagami opened the door as he saw the rose trail leading to the candle lit dinner.
"Oh my gosh.. daiki!" Kagami Said as he saw his boyfriend in a black suit with a blue tie.
"May I treat you to dinner?" Aomine smiled Holding out his hand. Kagami blushed and giggled as he grabbed his boyfriends hand following him to the table. Aomine pulled a seat out as kagami sat down.
"What is this all about it's so romantic!" Kagami said happily tearing up.
"Can I not treat my boyfriend to a special dinner?" Aomine smiled wiping tears off of kagamis cheek. "Let's eat before the food gets cold"

They both ate as they laughed and smiled talking about old memories kagami finished his food and was about to get up before aomine grabbed his wrist.
"Hm what is it?" Kagami said looking at aomine who took a deep breath.

"Taiga kagami... we have dated for years now and ever since I layed eyes on you I was obsessed I couldn't get enough you made me love basketball again and just made me love you....so" aomine said as he began to get down on one knee and pull out a box as kagami gasped holding his hands over his mouth. "Will you... will you marry me?" Aomine said showing a ruby wedding band with small sapphire jewels around it.

"yes yes a thousands time yes!" Kagami screamed as he tackled aomine to the ground in a hug. Aomine then put the ring onto kagamis finger as kagami pulled aomine to him in a passionate kiss. Tears trickled down kagamis cheeks and aomines as they embraced one another in eachothers love.
"I love you so fucking much" kagami said as he smiled looking at his boyfriends perfect blue eyes.
"I love you too I adore you" aomine said cupping kagamis Face gently before kissing him passionately.
