Where am I

A song, a simple rhythmic tune was what every Lyrian longed for. The tune that only one's true soul mate could possess. This song was so precious to them that, if lost, their whole existence meant nothing. For years the planet of Lyra suffered greatly because their leader, Narek had lost his heartsong mate, Beva. She died in a terrible accident that he has never forgiven himself for causing. He has lived in sorrow for many moons, never revealing what really ended her life. Only he knew the truth. Now his people tremble in fear of his unquenchable thirst for vengeance because of the suffering in his tuneless heart. He searched throughout the galaxy ever looking for a new love to reignite his song. Miky, a young woman from the planet earth was the unfortunate one picked by Narek. He had her brought to Lyra and is now trying to force her into being his queen. A young man also from the earth is the bearer of her true heartsong, and he must never awaken it, or Narek cannot have her for his queen. Francis Knight had no idea what he is being brought into on the night Narek dragged him to this world.

Francis Knight is a famous singer, actor, and dancer with a blossoming career who has just been brought into a world he doesn't recognize. He has been taken prisoner, and treated like a horrible criminal for something that hasn't even taken place yet. He has no idea what a heartsong is, or even that he possesses the one this king wants more than any other. He has been down in this cold place for two days now, and Miky has just discovered he is here. She is the key to all this. She is the reason he must suffer needlessly. If Narek cannot stop their song from joining them forever, then Francis must pay. He wakes up in a cold damp cave. A single guard sits watch as Francis dangles in an enormous cave over a large pit.

Drip. Drip. Drip. What is that annoying sound? Why am I freezing? Francis thinks as he is awakened by the sound of dripping water and the shaking of his own body. Where are my silk sheets and my heated water bed? Wait a minute. He feels around with his hands, but he still cannot open his eyes. His hands rove the ground around him. I... I'm on some kind of hard and very cold surface. How the heck did I get here? The last thing I remember is falling. No, I wasn't falling. I was being dragged. But by what? And why does my head hurt so much? He reaches behind his head and feels a slight bump. Ow! He removes his hand from the bump and feels some dried blood. Gah, that hurts! Geez! What is going on? He began shaking again when the realization came that he was in a terrible situation. He decided he needed to calm down. But how when he was in this really strange situation?

A sound erupts somewhere around him. He hears a girl, and she is crying. Oh God that

can't be good. Am I dead or something? Why is she crying? Wait! Am I in a coma? Crap! I've got too much to do. I can't rest now. Ugh, somebody wake me up!

"Why is he here, and who brought him?" the crying girl screams at someone.

Francis' fear is temporarily subsided by the curiosity of figuring out who was speaking and what they were saying about him.

"Sorry my lady, but my leader Narek did this," a young male responded nervously.

"No, he can't kill him! He doesn't even know me. Why do this? I already agreed to his terms. Why drag this poor guy into it," she begged.

Who is this girl, and why does she sound so sad? Her voice is like the perfect set of notes on a

piano, like the melody you hear in the best love song. I feel like I know her voice. God, Francis

wake up already! Open your eyes. Ahh! But my head really hurts. Come on. There... I see her, she is in the corner of a...a cave? I'm in a cave. Holy Crap! I'm in a bird cage!
