Premiere - Chapter 36

A/N: Dates and stuff are not right in this chapter but for this story's sake, just pretend Breaking Dawn's premiere was in March lol.

Three months had passed since we got engaged and we haven't left each other's side since then. The little 'argument' that we had, was completely under the rug. I think it's fair to say that we had never been happier as a couple.

"The big day today," I chuckle as he rolls out of bed,

"But we haven't even planned the wedding yet," He chuckles as he walks around the bed to my side and kisses my forehead.

"Not that big day," I chuckle as I grab on to his hand before he leaves, "I'll see you later,"

"I'll be back at about 4,"

He walks out of the room and I lie with the duvet wrapped around my legs and sigh, staring up to the ceiling and around the room. My eyes fall on the garment bag hanging on the cupboard door and I sit up and walk over to the bag, unzipping it to reveal my beautiful black dress that I got given for christmas.

Finally get to wear it tonight.

I walk back over to the bed with a smile on my face and lie back down, falling asleep again.

A knock at the apartment door wakes me up and I run out of the room when I realise its 1pm. I open the door to reveal the ladies here to do my make-up and hair for the premiere.

"I'm so sorry, I fell back to sleep! Come in, come in," I smile, stepping to the side so they can walk through.

"I'm Lily and this is my sister Annie," One lady says. She looks to be about 35 and Annie looks like she should be about 30, "Annie's the make-up girl and I'm the hair girl,"

We all let out a little chuckle and set up in the bathroom.

They get started straight away and refuse to let me face the mirror.

After what seems like forever of Annie brushing some sort of powder on my face and Lily pulling and twisting strands of my hair into place, they finally let me go and put my dress on.

The fabric sits firmly over my skin and I race back to the bathroom so I can look at myself in the mirror.

I walk in and Annie and Lily's faces light up, which makes me more eager to see myself.

"You look stunning," Lily exclaims as I walk over to the mirror.

At first, I don't really recognise myself. There's just a girl with an extremely beautiful gown on and her hair and make-up done to perfection. But then it settles in. My eyes, highlighted by the beautiful smokey but relatively natural eyeshadow, my lips covered in a beautiful purple colour just compliment the dress so perfectly. I can't believe it. This is me.

"Wow," I sigh, not knowing what to say.

"Wow is right, I can't wait for Jamie to see you," Annie smiles.

"I can't believe this is me! How did you do this?" I chuckle, looking at them both.

"Didn't have to do much, you were beautiful to begin with," Lily smiles and wheels her case outside and down to her car with Annie.

"Oh! Jamie is here," Annie smiles, peering around the door and then ducking back out.

I can hear chatter in the hall between the three of them and then his laugh as it drifts into the room.

I stand there awkwardly, not knowing what to do and look to my feet as I hear his footsteps get closer.

The sound of his steps stop and I hear him take in a sharp breath.

"Oh my god," He stutters, "Jess," He closes the gap between us and hugs me to his chest, "I don't know - I can't - I - wow," He stumbles over his words looking at me, up and down and then to my eyes, "You're so beautiful," He barely whispers.

"They did a pretty fantastic job," I smile, stepping away from him and facing the back to show him my hair, "I didn't even know that was possible," I laugh, pointing to the intricate braid/bun thing in my hair.

"I have no words," He smiles, pulling me closer to him and kissing me on the forehead, "Nobody is going to be able to take their eyes of you. Especially me," He chuckles as Lily and Annie walk back in.

"Thank you so much," I say, looking at them both with a huge smile on my face.

"No problems, you look gorgeous," Lily smiles, "We better get going, and so should you!" She smiles, walking over to give me a hug.

"One thing," Jamie says, looking at my face, "Not sure I'm a fan of the lipstick. I mean, now I can't kiss her without it being obvious,"

All four of us crack up laughing as we walk out into the hall and see the limo pulling up out the front.
