Okay so this is where the “action” starts! ;)

We hope you enjoy. – And we’re sorry about all the cliffhangers. It’s not fair and we know it.

Enjoy reading this chapter! <3

Fiona’s POV:

Beautiful eyes were staring at me, from the face of an angel. – I recognized the face but I don’t know who he was, or where I’ve seen him before.

“Fiona?” He said looking me straight in the eyes, trying to help cleaning my dress.

“Do I know you?” I couldn’t decide whether this was good or bad. I promised myself before I wouldn’t like any guys, and this one’s quite sweet.

“Uhm... I think so? I’m Louis. Louis Tomlinson, from Doncaster. I kind of baby sited you when we were younger, I’m not sure if you remember me.” Oh. My. GOD! Now I recognize him. I haven’t spoken to him in what seemed like ages.

“Louis! Oh god! How are you? Why are you here?” I couldn’t help myself but to hug him.

“I’m fine, how about you? It’s been a while huh?” I nod. It’s been more than a while.

“Yeah it has. I’m fine too, thank you, Louis.” He’s about to say something when a tall guy grabs his arm.

“Lou, we got to do something about him. He can’t just sit there all night” The tall guy nods in direction of the bar and let his eyes slide over to me, and then back at Louis.

“Are you two hooking up, Lou!?” he asked while looking at me with big eyes. What? Me with Louis!? Oh god. I can’t help but laughing.

“No, we’re not - Louis swung his arm around my waist, and looked at the tall guy.

“Of course I’m hooking up with her, Zayn”. He rolls his eyes at the tall guy – I think he’s called Zayn. “Right Love?” Louis looks at me and winks.

"Oh.. Ehm, Louis and I are just old friends. He watched over me when I was younger. He’s like a brother to me, nothing more.” I smile at Zayn and hear Louis mumbles ‘party-killer’ to me.

Louis and Zayn start talking about that guy again. “Lou, I need to go now, but I can give you my number so we can keep in touch”. After we got each other’s phone numbers, I got myself excused.

I could really use a drink about now. The bar isn’t as crowded as I expected it to be. I order, without hesitation, a kind of martini-ish drink. I don’t really drink that much, but I want it to change.

The music pumped in the floor as the crowd in the bar started to leave to dance.

A guy next to me kept sitting at his spot though.  Dirty blond hair – or is it brown? I can’t tell. Wonderful brown eyes, straight stomach, nice outfit. He looks sweet. I start to wonder if that’s the guy Louis and Zayn was talking about. But something is wrong.

“Hi. I’m Fiona” I watched him, as he looked up. He’s been crying. His eyes are red and his eyelashes wet.

“You don’t look like you’re alright?” The guy looked up but only shocked his head.

“I’m fine”, but I don’t believe him. He’s at a party god damn it!

“You know what I think? You’re just as miserable as I am. I mean... it’s clear that you have some sort of problems, and even though I don’t know it, I’m sure you’d get over with it by time.” He doesn’t answer. Okay, time to use another tactic. “I have this stepmother I don’t like. My parents got divorced a few years ago. It’s hard sometimes, but I survive. My dad found another lady. I can’t stand her and she hates me. She’s always trying to get rid of me, to get my dad to herself. I’m staying with my mother soon. I’m actually glad that I’m with her. My dad and his girlfriend need some time alone. It would have been easier to get over their break up if I still had someone to be there for me. But about a month before my parents broke up my boyfriend left me…” He looked up. So that was it. He had been breaking up with someone!
