The Hurricane

Raiders

"No no no, why now!?"
she muttered to herself. She knew that they
only had a small amount of time before the Hurricane got back, they need to loot this Wreckage as fast as possible but they won't be able to do so if there are Raiders around especially if they are looting the Wreckage they were targeting

"Kat can you distract them somehow?" She asked over the Intercom
"Sure, but what are you playing at?"
"Well, we could steal the Hover"
" you're an idiot Sarah"
"Well you got anything better?"
"No..." She muted herself and crept closer to the wreckage. seven Raiders clad in sand colored Rags so they would be able to hide themselves in the Desert, some had weapons to ragged blades of metal strapped to their hips or slung over their shoulders the biggest of the lot had a great war axe strapped over his shoulder and a lean woman had some sort of houlster with a gun insid that troubled her she would need to take her out first. they had Masks too. Crude things in comparison to their full-face see through Masks. the Raiders had big Filters in front of their Mouths and a one-way glass covered their eyes so you never knew if they may have spotted you. But she knew that was unlikely she was good at sneaking around, very good. She hid behind a Rock about ten Meters behind the Hover, the Raiders were using. They were currently ripping all the useful parts out of the Wreck, it was rather big and it seemed it was intended for Flying what would be idiotic. Everybody knew you needed to stay close to the Ground or else the Winds in the higher Altitudes would rip you apart. She wait for the lean one that was guarding the rest to ho behind a small boulder. She then sneeked up behind her and unrolled the piece of cloth she would use to choke her. She lunged, the woman somehow noticed her. She stepped to the side while she got her weapon out and pulled the trigger.

Sarah was catapulted away. She hit the boulder hard. The woman reloaded and pointet it at her again

"Kat, now " Sarah could just barely whispered the words
"No talk! Or I kill" the woman raider said in a thick accent and distorted by the mask. But it was enough An explosion rattled the earth. and a rumble filled the air. A gigantic cloud of sand was rising into the sky. sarah expecting the explosion was prepared. Ms.I kill you
not so much. Sarah used this and jumped her slapping the gun aside so she wouldn't get shot point blanc. They wrestled for the gun. Sarah twisted her wrist so she dropped the gun she grabbed it and aimed it at her."Don't move, or I kill" Sarah said in a mockery of the raiders threat. Sarah grabs the cloth she wouldn't have used to choke her to restrain her. Once finished she crept around the boulder. The Raiders were still  distracted Sarah started sprinting. She used the gun to fling the driver of the hover out of the seat he flew dozens of meters "wow, that's... Far.." Sarah whispered. She quickly climbed onto the seat.

The Hover had two Wing like Structures to the side with Holes in them for the Hover-fields and a storage Module on the back. Sarah frantically tries to turn on the Engine in hopes of getting away with the loot. But the Raiders noticing their Comrade flying by, spotted her as she searched for the Key 'the key where is it?' She searched almost in a panic and found it in a small compartment next to the control panel. The Raiders were almost upon her now but as the Engine came to life with an energetic buzz she turns the hover around and smashed it into the Attackers. She shouted a "WOOHOOO" that nobody would hear because nobody can hear through the mask and because there were no concius people around except her.

Sarah without looking back around starts speeding off only leaving a cloud of sand behind. "Sarah! Get over here!" She flinched at the sudden scream over the Intercom " Yeah yeah, i wouldn't forget you" "Suuure , just get over here to the Tower please" it was one of the very few things that never changed in the Desert.there was the Mountain pass , the Cliff and of course the Metal Tower. A almost Scaffolding like Structure as if someone forgot to fill the Tower with Cement or Bricks or maybe it was swept away by the Winds. Always after the Hurricane came, the Landscape changed, but these Landmarks and a few others were permanent.

Kat could see from the top of the structure commonly referred to as "the Tower" the Cloud of Dust and Sand approaching her. She quickly climbed down the Metal Scaffolding it was made of and dropped to the ground. "Finally you decided to come get me!" Kat shouts at Sarah " Yeah just hop on now I think they would like their Hover back, too bad they can't come get it "
"Oh, then we should hurry!" kat says in the most sarcastic voice she could muster "right?" Sarah says. Kat hops on and grabbed onto Sarah and seated herself behind her but before she event finished adjusting Sarah starts again "woah slow down there!" Sarah just nods and floors the gas a Smirk on her lips "Fuck you" " sorry Kat,I can't hear you" she says over the intercom.

The scorching sun made ripples in the Air as they closed in on the ridge. When they entered the cool shadow they relaxed finally safe. After a while Sarah stopped and Katlin gets off the hover, she slipped into a tiny crevices in the wall of the ridge. Inside she presses the secret Code to open the Hatch that lead underground. That lead home as the secret door reveals itself Kat hopped back on and they hover inside.
