I ran upstairs and jumped into the shower. Showers always helped improve my moods. I took them a little more than I should, actually. I got out of the shower and walked into my closet, which was a walk-in. You could say my family is rich but, I hate using that term. It's not mine, it's my parents' money.

I picked out an outfit. It was a black, flowy crop top with high waisted shorts. I walked into my bathroom again and got out my mascara and foundation from my makeup bag. I don't like to wear a lot of makeup, obviously.

I smeared the foundation on to my face until it was smooth and barely looked like it was there. I picked up my mascara and applied it so my lashes weren't clumpy. I took a good look in the mirror and was satisfied with my looks.

"Ok mom I'm leaving to hangout with Jc, see ya later I guess!" I yelled, as I walked out the door.

"Wait, Em, before you leave, we need to talk!" she said shouted.

"ughhhh great," I mumbled, to where she couldn't hear.

"Emily, sweetie, sit down."

I could hear the sadness in her voice as she spoke.

"We're moving to California," she spit out, almost as fast as she could.

A look of despair must have covered my face without me knowing. Next thing I knew she was bringing me into a hug.

"I'm sorry sweetheart, I'm so so so sorry!" she whispered in my ear.
