Eunchae POV:

I sighed, as I lay myself on the bench and feel the nice summer breeze. This spot has always been my favorite, right under the tree, the sun shining right through the leaves hitting your face. It feels so nice.. sometimes, I wish things like studies, jobs and family didn't matter. I've always wanted to live my life carefree with just me, by myself. Its always been like that from the start, me and myself, nobody else.

And school, don't even get me started. School is just a place to make everybody feel worse. Stupid things like, '' popular kids '' or '' couples '' and '' bullies '' or whatever. Sure, these things do happen but that's just how the world sadly works. Nobody can change that, even if they try people don't change. I've never experienced half of these, due to the fact I was considered a popular kid. But that's because everybody thinks I'm good at everything I do, I don't believe that though. Everything I do doesn't feel fun, its boring, simple, lame. Nothing's fun, my parents just make me do everything with no choice.

Speaking of parents, I've never been close to my parents. Its not like I wanna be anyways, they're too occupied on my older brother to the point I do everything by myself. I didn't really care anymore once I started to get older, I've learned that being the youngest child, you'll never get the attention if you have a smart older sibling. The thought has stuck with me ever since I was child, I mean when I was younger it was worse. I would cry over stupid things, whenever I didn't get attention. Of course, I'm older now and I've realized my place in the family.

I'll always be the '' useless child. '' with no worth to the family. At least I found a couple friends, stupid ones that laugh at everything. They're funny though, they make me laugh, I laugh at them. We get in trouble together, and they always baby me because I'm the youngest. I don't mind though, they're better then my parents at least. And I don't mind spending my last few minutes with them either.

'' what are you thinking about manchae? '' Yunjin asked, approaching me. '' I dunno '' I responded, covering my face with a magazine. '' you know, you look like an idiot right now '' The older replied, I could hear the sound of pictures being taken. '' that better not be posted on your stupid Instagram. '' I responded, kindly threatening the older. Yunjin always post stuff about me on her social medias, I don't really know why. I don't really mind since she's a friend, but sometimes It gives off stalker vibes.

'' its not stupid! my followers enjoy it '' The American replied, sounding stupid as ever. '' pft, what followers '' I mumbled, still laying in the same position. '' the girls that swarm over you? '' she fired back, teasing me. No way the girls at school follow her to look at my pictures, you have to be kidding me. I don't even like them, but I guess they have an obsession.

'' crushes are stupid. '' I said, a little annoyed. '' yeah let's see once you fall in love '' she replied, removing the magazine from my face. '' you have many opportunities manchae '' the older added staring at me, sneakily elbowing my rib cage. '' shit '' I cursed in pain, Jesus why did she have to do that to my poor rib cage I thought, rubbing my chest. '' you'll miss all your classes '' Yunjin said, laughing at the sight of me.

'' I rather miss my classes then go inside '' I said, while I watched a leaf land on my face. '' then i'll see u later '' yunjin replied, waving before leaving. I let out a sigh, as I wrap my arms behind my head. How comfortable I thought, while feeling the sweet summer breeze brush through my face. I stay in the same position for a while, observing the clear blue sky, along with white fluffy clouds.

'' enjoying the view? '' a girl asked, causing my attention to shift. '' i guess. '' I respond, observing the girl's long wavy hair, doe eyes, small cute lips. How pretty. '' kim garam. '' the girl said, '' that's my name. '' she added, forming a cute smile. I stayed quiet, It's not like I asked in general though.

Kim Garam, she's apart of the Kim family. Taehyung has mentioned her a couple of times, talking about how pretty his sister is, and how she was transferring to my school. He isn't wrong, she's pretty, everything about her is. Her smile, eyes, hair and lips, many boys would wish that was all theirs.

'' i know your staring '' she says, staring at me. '' who said I was staring at you '' I said, looking away. '' we both know you did. '' garam replied, a little annoyed. '' no i didn't '' I said, acting innocent. '' Yah! '' Garam yelled, slightly hitting my arm. '' okay, I did. '' I fired back, grabbing my bag and walking away.

'' where are you going? '' Garam asked, a little curious. '' why, wanna follow? '' I reply. '' but, class..? '' she responds, with worried look on her face. '' so who cares? '' I said, grabbing the girl's wrist. '' I don't know my brother might- '' she said, before I cut her off. '' you'll be fine as long as your with me. '' I replied, forming a friendly smile.

'' okay whatever you say, hong. '' she says, walking in front of me, as I let go of her wrist. '' where do you wanna go first? '' I ask, waiting for a response while trailing behind her as we leave the school. '' I'm a little hungry,  can we get some food? '' garam replied, pointing at her stomach. '' i know a place up ahead '' I respond, leading the way from behind her.

We were still in our school uniforms which made it quite obvious we were ditching class. Garam was wearing a skirt with her long sleeve white shirt, while her name tag is on the right of her chest. While I was wearing some black sweats, with my blazer on top of my shirt along with my name tag on the side.

At least she looks nice in it, I thought. Kim Taehyung, I guess your sister is pretty interesting. To fill you in, me and Tae were good friends for a solid couple of years now, we had each others backs and he would always look after me. Since, of course my parents were completely ignoring me. Yet somehow Taehyung was able to take me in. Almost like an older brother, that's better then the one I have.

My life is so boring, I thought to myself while the cold air brushes against me. I mean, that's one of the reasons I've been ditching class more frequently. Yunjin and Chaewon tell me not to, but at this point its become a habit which, is not a great one. I at least still do my home work, well sometimes.. but what's stopping me? it's not like my parents care. They're always too busy on their '' hard working son, Joshua Hong '' not even giving a shit about me.

'' are you younger then me?.. '' Garam asked, interrupting my thoughts. '' depends, I'm 16 '' I reply, a little curious. '' I'm 17, that means I'm your unnie '' The older replied, with a smile on her face. '' I'm not calling you unnie. '' I said, teasing the older. '' I'm not forcing you to '' she said, rolling her eyes. Talk about attitude, that's something the Kim's got in common.

'' Good. '' I reply, putting my hands in my pockets. '' i hate u '' Garam mumbled, with a small frown on her face. I stayed quiet, watching the older pout. '' you look pretty. '' I said, staring at the girl. '' unnie. '' I add, looking away due to embarrassment.  While watching the girl get flustered, with her cheeks that were tinted with pink all over.

'' hong eunchae. '' the older responded, with a flustered look on her face. '' kim garam. '' I mumbled, staring at the older. This was it, this was the moment I knew that my life was no longer boring. This girl, Kim Garam the younger sister of my best friend has set a spark in my life. A spark that isn't ordinary but more like peace, a feeling like finally meeting your comfort place but this feeling, it ended up being replicated in a girl.

You've already made me feel this way, what will you make me feel next..
