The Scheme

Hey guys! So thank you to the one reader who voted on all my chapter of my Death Cure ending and who voted on the last chapter I appreciate you!

Thomas POV:

Janson takes me to a room with a glass panel on one side of the wall and two chairs separated by a table. He leads me to sit in one of the chairs and takes off my handcuffs. There is cameras in the room so I know I can't do anything.

Janson starts to say,

" Well Thomas, to start off what do you remember about WICKED? Also based on today's actions I can't help but wonder, whose side you're on?"

" Side? What do you mean side? I came here because you took us here. WICKED controlled us and tortured my friends and me, I remember watching them die and working there." I continue.

" Now you won't even tell me what will happen to one of my friends. So I'm on my friends side because I don't know if you guys are the good side." I say.

Janson just sits there staring at me.

" You're free to go. Guards are outside waiting for you." Janson says.

I stand and walk toward the door as I grab the handle Janson says,

" There are cameras. Don't try anything."

I grab the handle and walk out. Just like Janson said four guards were waiting outside the door. One guard was in front of me, two by both of my sides, and one behind me. We walk through three long hallways before we stop in front of two doors. 

One of the guards opens the door and the other pushes me through. I see a bunch of other boys at tables eating and talking.

" Thomas! Over here!" Someone yells.

I look and see Minho standing up. I walk over to the table and see Newt, Winston, Frypan, and a couple of other guys.

Minho pats me on the back and I sit down. Newt gets up and walks somewhere.

" Guys this is Thomas. Thomas this is Jack, Tyler, and Owen." Minho tells me.

" Hey." I say.

Newt sits down next to me with a plate of food.

" Eat and don't say no." Newt says. ( Mama Newt hehe)

He pushes the plate of food in front of me and hands me a fork. On the plate is some chicken and mash potatoes. I eat slowly and listen to the conversation. About 15 minutes later Janson walks in.

" You guys know the drill, when your name is called come to the front. Your new life awaits." Janson says.

" Jack, Tim, Gale, Dylan, Will, Shane, Trey, Hunter." Janson says. They all walk out and follow him in a line.

I look toward the windows and see Teresa, I get out of my seat.

" Teresa! Teresa!" I yell.

She looks at me with sad eyes. Something's wrong.

I run to the entrance but guards hold me off

" Where's she going?" I ask.

" Just some more tests sit down." The guards answer.

I go back to my seat and look towards my friends and the new boys.

" Somethings happening, and it's not good." I say.

" Like what?" Newt asks.

" Well when you guys were going here, I snuck into Teresa's room. She was injected with something and was lying on a bed. She told me that they're doing something to her, and she doesn't feel like herself. Janson came and I asked him what's going on with her."
