Three Months Later

Korra's POV:

Three months after me and Asami walked hand in hand into the Spirit World, my feelings for her... became much stronger than just friends.. I felt like a part of me was missing... I thought Bolin or Mako could fill that empty void in my life... they were so sweet... after the fight with Zaheer, it was Asami who was there more than Bolin and Mako were... and then Kuvira... It was Asami who sat with me... I fell in love with her... We made a home in the Spirit World, and I figured, what the hell? No one's ever coming here, maybe I can finally tell Asami how I feel about her...

"This place is coming together nicely, Korra. I'm glad you asked me to come along with you, because there's something I've been trying to say to you ever since you left for three years after Zaheer..."

Is... she beating me to it?

"Asami..."

She closed her tear-stained eyes and walked over to me, wrapping her arms around me, purposely pushing her breasts into my chest, and she whispered in my ear, "Korra, I love you... more than you'll ever know.. it's not a friendly love... I want to spend the rest of my life with you as a couple... I realize now that if I lose you... I'll have nothing..."

Oh, Asami.... she always knows what to say to make me all mushy inside...

"Asami, I... I love you too... I'm, like, in love with you.... I thought it was Mako... or Bolin... but I was happily wrong... it was always you, Asami.."

Then, she took my face and pressed my lips against hers in a sensual, but passionate kiss that lasted about 30 or so minutes. After we pulled away, I asked her, "So... does this mean we're together?"

Asami smiled at me, kissed me again, and whispered,

"YES."
