Chapter V: Tying The Knot [Explicit] (Season Finale)

Korra's POV:

She beat me to it again... this girl.. I swear she can read my mind or something... she asked me to marry her... I said yes, of course. That was our next step in our relationship... I'll feel an even deeper connection with her...

"Should we... tell people..?"

I asked... because I honestly didn't know who was going to marry us...

"Why? We can marry each other. The spirits can help us. This is our chance to start a brand new life together. Without Tenzin or the others... just you and me, Korra. I'm sorry... I sound selfish..."

I smiled and kissed her soft lips. She just has the best wishes for our relationship and I can't fault her for that...

"You're not selfish, 'Sami. You just have the best interests at heart. You're so sweet. I think you're right about us being together. But we can visit them from time to time."

"Oh, most definitely. I was just saying that... right now, I want to focus on us."

I nodded my head. She was right, of course. I did want to focus on our relationship right now. So, we agreed to let the local spirits marry us. And we could stay here in the Spirit World for a honeymoon. This place became a new home for me and Asami. I wanted to stay here for as long as I possibly could with her, my new wife.

A few hours passed after the wedding, and me and Asami were back at our house. It was getting late, and we were preparing to go to bed, when Asami said,

"You know what this means now, right?"

I looked at her, slightly confused.

"Whatever happens now... we deal with it together. Whatever problems are now in the past. We deal with whatever life throws at us together. I... lost my father during the battle with Kuvira... I'm not losing you again. I won't be able to stand it.. I.. thought about suicide when you were gone for three years... just writing to you wasn't enough... I wanted to see you... I know you needed your space, but I still needed you..."

W-wow... I looked her dead in the eyes, and said that she wasn't ever going to lose me ever again. Whatever happens next, we were going to face it together. No more solo. We love each other, and that love will be able to conquer anything life throws at us from here on in. Asami kissed me and said, "Good. Because I love you. Forever and always."

As we laid in bed, Asami bolted upright in shock. She legitimately scared the fuck out of me when she did that...

"What's wrong?!"

She looked at me with a scared look in her eyes, and asked,

"How are we going to have KIDS??!!"

I took a deep breath, laughed and kissed her. She has a LOOOOT to learn...
