As i am walking past my dad, i whisper.
''Be nice to him''
''Don't worry i will''
I kiss him on the cheek and leave the room.
END OF KATELYN'S POV
NO ONE'S POV
Once Katelyn leaves Hank (Katelyn's father) drops his smile. Ben puts his shirt on.
''What did you want to talk about sir?''
''How do you feel Ben?''
''I feel good, thank you sir''
''Are you sure?''
''What are you getting at?''
''Look boy, my family is everything to me and i am not letting anyone hurt them'' ''I won't let the goverment do it and i won't let you do it either''
''I know you don't like me but i love your daughter and she's my world, just like you i won't let anyone hurt her, even if it's you''
Hank scofs.
''Love? You are incapble of love, people like you don't love, the goverment's rats don't know how to love''
Ben doesn't say anything.
''Glad we could talk''
Hank was about to leave but then he remembered something.
''Oh and while we're at it, keep your snake in your pants''
Hank gets out the room, leaving Ben alone.
FEW HOURS LATER
KATELYN'S POV
It's night time now. Ben is going to stay in my room. I just got out of the bathroom and Ben is already in the bed. I get in the bed too. I wanted to hug him but he turned away from me.
''What's going on?''
''Nothing, i'm just tired''
''Oh, ok''
I say trying to not sound too sad. He's tired and he just needs some space. So not thinking too much of it, i go to sleep.
FEW DAYS LATER
It's been days and Ben is still avoiding me. Everytime i try to touch him or anything, he just turns away from me. And i have had ebough of it. We're in my room noe and i will ask him, what's erong with him.
''What is wrong with you?''
''What do you mean?''
''Why are you ignoring me?''
''I'm not ignoring you''
''Yes, you are, you have been avoiding me since the day you got out''
''Wait, are you saying that i used you to get out of there?''
''What else should i think?''
''Wow, i can't believe you would think so low of me.''
''Ben i-''
''Save it''
And he storms out the room.
30 MINUTES LATER
END OF KATELYN'S POV
NO ONE'S POV
After calming down and rethinking everything Katlyn found Ben on the rooftop. She approaches him and sits down next to him. She put her hand on top of his.
''Hi''
''Hi''
''I don't think that you used me to get out of there'' ''But i know there's something bothering you'' ''And i'm ready to listen when you feel ready to talk''
She puts her head on his shoulder. Ben slowly gets up.
''I'm bad''
''What?''
Katelyn gets up too.
''I'm bad for you Katelyn''
''No, you're not''
''I've done terrible things in the past''
''I don't care''
''I have killed''
''I don't care about what you have done in the past but i do care about you and me now, in this moment''
After she finishes her sentence, she kisses him on the lips, deeply.
''Katelyn...''
He says breaking the kiss.
''Shh, i'm owning what's mine''
And they continue to kiss.
Authors note: let's just say they did a lot of things that night and i will leave them up to your imagination ;)
