Hope you enjoy... "." Talking, '.' thoughts, *.*whisper . . . . . . It is the morning, Maddy is making breakfast for herself and her husband. They have been married for 5 years now and had known each other for 10 years. Their relationship was perfect and if anybody tried to get in their way they would only make the lovers bond stronger.
Her husband, George, was only waking up from the alarm he set, as he gets tired easily since he works 6 days a week and overtime to get good money. Maddy doesn't mind making food for the both of them everyday because she understands that it is difficult for him and has never been annoyed at him not doing much to help her out at home. She doesn't have a hard job but rather a job she really enjoys, it's working at a flower shop, she loved flowers from a very young age and was very happy when she got the job. Her husband knew she loved flowers so he brought them for her frequently.
Anyway, George woke up from the alarm he set and could already smell the food his wife made, he smiled softly at the thought of his wife cooking and got up from bed. Putting on a shirt and some slippers he quietly crept behinde his wife and placed his head on her shoulder, making the woman slight jump. "Morning love" she said with a quiet and peaceful tone. "Mornin', I couldn't help but come her to see what you made this morning" he said with a slight grumble in his voice, he did only just wake up though. "It looks amazing" "Oh stop~, go take a seat at the table" "I'm only telling the truth" George answered to his wife giving her a kiss on the cheek and going to sit at the table. "Here's the food!" Maddy exclaimed joyfully as she placed the meal in front of George.

"As I said amazing~" he jokingly said while grabbing a knife and fork. "Mhm, I'll make the drinks real quick and join you in a second ☺️" She hurried off to go make the drinks. George sat there waiting patiently for his wife and smiling to himself, 'i know it's been 5 years since we have been married but it still feels like it happened yesterday, I really am the luckiest man on earth to have a wife like that'. "Here we are with the drinks, enjoy the meal"

"Well if it's finished, let's enjoy the meal together, after all you did do a great job" George said gesturing Maddy to sit in front him and enjoy the meal. Maddy went to sit in front of him, they were quiet for a moment and then they started a conversation. "How have your work days been?" "They have been alright but really tiring" "Oh, well it's good that you have a week of no work then. Use it wisely and don't waste your time working more" "Yes I know I know" They continue to talk about their days and any plans they might have in the week. . . . Time skip . . . Maddy was working at her flower shop welcoming the customers and wishing them well when they left. She loved her job but sometimes she felt lonely, thinking about her husband relaxing at home made her happy so she continued to work till 6pm. When she arrived home she was ready to go make food because she was so used to it. But when she got there she had a pleasant surprise, her husband made some dinner for the both of them. It smelt amazing she knew what he made as soon as she saw it on the table. " Is that strip steak with hasselback potatoes and garlicky spinach " " You really know your food " " Of course I know that, it's my favourite dish " " I know it is, you worked hard all day and I had nothing to do so, surprise " he said with a nervous tone. He set out the food on the table with some wine and a pink rose to match the table cover, he smiled at his wife and pulled out a chair for her to sit on.

(What it looks like) "Thank you, you didn't have to do that for me" "Of course I do, you are my wife" he said in a loving tone while walking to sit on his chair. . . . They spent their afternoon together talking about work and random stuff, until Maddy asked a question. " Hey George you know how it's been a long time since we have had time to spend together " she said in a slow pace with a gentle tone. " Yea? " " Why don't we...."
