"Beomgyu. Open your eyes."

"W-Wah? Ngh.. who's there? Mm.." Beomgyu rubbed his eyes gently, squinting into the light. Whoever the hell was poking his left arm, it was bugging his sleep.

"Beomgyu.. you're in deep trouble.. stop this investigation, now."

Beomgyu's eyes shot open this time, getting himself into defense mode. "Who the hell are you?!" He shouts after seeing a glowing red particle in the middle of a white room of nothingness.

"I'm no one, Beomgyu. I am only here to warn you.. you don't know what you're getting yourself into. Take Taehyun and his friends out of this. You'll only hurt them and yourself."

"What? Nuh uh. Taehyun has the right to know who murdered him." Beongyu huffs, turning away from the glowing red particle voice thing.

"Be aware of the ones who are in your circle.." the glowing particle thing then disappeared.

Beomgyu gasped, feeling himself shudder from the inside. The area around him was still completely white, as if he was in some place that didn't even exist in the world.

But he didn't like it. Taehyun wasn't here. (Yet) Anywhere without Taehyun is a place he doesn't like.

"Where am I?" He mostly asked himself.

There was no sign of anything that could get him out of there either. How did he get there in the first place? It was all that particle's doing. It sent him there.

But it's all in his head. He's only in a dream, but he doesn't know that yet.

And who can enter Beomgyu's dreams? Why, Taehyun of course!

"Taehyun? Why are you here?" Beomgyu asked, finally spotting his ghost boyfriend who was standing behind him. Like, he could literally feel his breath on his neck.

"I- how did you see me? You normally can't see me when I enter your dreams?" Taehyun questions, jumping back with confusion.

"Dream? This is a dream?" Beomgyu asked again.

"Oh right.. normally people shouldn't know they're in a dream. Hmmm.. by the way, what was that floating thingy?"

"You mean the glowing talking thing that said we were in big trouble and that we should stop your investigation? Yeah, I have no idea. Thought it was god for a second, but then I remembered that god is a person and not some floating, glowing, eye-blinding circle." Beomgyu said.

"Soo, maybe it's one of the angels?"

"Maybe. We should ask Huening Kai about this." Beomgyu hums.

"Oooh! And, maybe there'll be a person there who knows who murdered me so we don't have to look for ourselves!"

"Hyun, did that glowing ball's message get sucked up into your brain? We aren't in danger. We'll find your killer ourselves."

"Whaaaahahaht? Find it ourselves? Naaaahhh, let's just talk to the angels and gather a ton of information from them! I-I'm too lazy to find them myself." Taehyun faked a smile.

Beomgyu sighs. "Look. Even if we were to be in danger, you're a ghost Hyunie. You can't be seen. We'll find your murderer."

"And what about you? You're still visible and very much alive. If you get hurt.."

"I won't. I'm a vampire now, Tyun. I can get out of dangerous situations. I'll also protect your friends if any danger comes our way."

"But what if you don't..?" Taehyun frowns. "What if you end up losing? If you..." he starts to look away.

"Hey, look at me. I'll be fine. I promise." Beomgyu smiles, lifting Taehyun's chin.

"No. I promise YOU that I will save you from any danger you can't save yourself from.."

"Oookaay Mr. Ghost. Do whatever you want. We are still going after your murderer." Beomgyu grins seeing how Taehyun stopped pressing him on not going.

"Okay.. yeah, we go but you have to be extra careful. I am not losing you."

Beomgyu nods. "Yup. Now how do we get out of here?"

"Oh, you just have to wake up. The door I came from is how I'll get out but you gotta wakie wakie." Taehyun explains.

"Huh?" Beomgyu looked around confused. "Where's the door??"

"Welll only I can see it since I came in. You're a part of the dream. So you can't."

"Lame." He huffs, setting himself down. "Well, leave now and wake me up!"

"Don't tell me what to do." Taehyun stuck his tongue out. "I'm gonna stay right here." He sat himself next to Beomgyu.

"Mm.. then can we make out?"

"You really wanna make out in your dream?"

"Yup."

"Then, no. I'll leave now." Taehyun stood back up.

"Aww, boring." Beomgyu pouts.

"We can do it in real life instead." Taehyun suggests with a shrug.

"Really? Yes!" Beomgyu nods excitedly. "Go go, you better give me morning kissies." He glares.

"Yeah, yeah. I'm going to sleep. For some reason, I feel exhausted." Taehyun sighs.

"I thought ghosts don't need sleep." Beomgyu tilts his head in tiny.

"Mhm. But lately, I needed sleep. I get tired every night and I even get dreams in my sleep. Something's wrong with me, but I'm not sure. It's alright though, since now, I can have cuddles with you and sleep like you do." Taehyun smiles.

"Hmm, trueee. I usually get sad when you fly off without me scaring random people.. okay! Time to go! Rest up, alright? If this is a dream, I can..." Beomgyu held his head with two fingers on both side, imagining some stuff.

Just like that, the entire room was practically candyland. Candy everywhere. But the highlight was the chocolate rain from the cotton candy clouds in the bright purple sky.

"Hehehehe! Have fun!" Beomgyu exclaimed, waving goodbye while sticking his tongue out to catch the chocolate rain.

Taehyun just shook his head with a warmhearted laugh, finally leaving Beomgyu's dreamland and bringing himself to his own dreamland instead.
