"Y/n!" You perked up and froze from what you were doing upon hearing your friend's exhausted voice call out to you. Setting down the rusted watering can, you stroll out of the room you were occupying.

"Yes Odette?" You questioned once you reached your distressed friend. Odette was on her knees with tears pricking in the corner of her brown eyes. She pointed in front of her before letting out a big sob.

"They're all dead!" She cried out, making you furrow your eye brows. Trailing your eyes over towards the direction in which she was pointing to, your eyes landed on a bunch of dead flowers. You sweat dropped.

"Odette, we can just grow new ones-" You tried reasoning but she cut you off, grabbing the hem of your basic dress. She looked up at you with tears profusely running down her pale cheeks as some snot leaked from her nose.

"No Y/n! These took so long to grow and care for!" She whined, "and we can go out of business if we don't sell enough flowers this season!"

You frowned. You knelt down to her level, bringing out your white handkerchief. You silently shushed her before dabbing her eyes with your handkerchief.

"We'll figure something out, don't worry." You reassured, bringing your handkerchief to her nose, "blow."

She gently blew her nose into your handkerchief, causing snot to smear all over the soft fabric. Refraining yourself from looking at it in disgust, you casted it away to the side and helped Odette to her feet.

"Now, why don't you go lie down and rest." You spoke, brushing some hair out of Odette's face. "I'll take care of it."

Odette's lips quivered before she brought you into a bone crushing hug. You slightly wheezed before returning the hug.

"Thank you N/N! How did I get such an awesome friend like you?" Odette muttered into your shoulder as you felt flustered.

Not knowing how to exactly respond, you pull away.

"Now why don't you head to your chambers?" You softly spoke, "okay?"

Odette tiredly nodded and headed towards her chambers after you ushered her away. You watched her tired form stroll away from you. Once you heard her bedroom door close, you let out a small sigh.

You turned to face the dead flowers before bringing your right hand up. Slightly moving your fingers in a pattern, a faint red glow appears around your hand.

Soon after several seconds, the luscious color of green came back to the flowers, along with their original colors. Feeling proud of yourself, you wipe your hands against your dress before making your way over to the cleaning cupboard.

Letting small hums emit from your partially parted lips, you grab a rag and began wiping away the stray soil that rested on the desk. The sound of the grandfather clock ticking and your soft hums were the only things that filled up the room.

Several minutes pass by as you were almost completed with your chores. Suddenly you hear the front shop door's bell ring making you pause in what you were doing. You quickly headed to the front of the flower shop to see a very beautiful and tall woman.

She has dark hair that resembles the midnight sky and emerald green eyes. She's drop dead gorgeous. Shaking yourself out of your thoughts, you gave her a smile.

"Hello." You greeted as her eyes shifted over to you. "Is there anything I can help you with?"

The woman's eyes slightly widened and her posture became stiff before she went back to her appropriate composure. She simply shook her head and headed over to the flowers.

You let out a small sigh, leaning against the white tiled wall. Whenever you turned away from the woman, you could feel her eyes bestow themselves onto you. You shivered but nonetheless tried your best to ignore it.

Finally, the woman picked up a flower pot that contained colorful daisy's before making her way towards you. You flashed her a small smile before carefully taking the pot out of her hands. You studied the flowers and the expense of the pot before calculating the prices all together. You gave her the price and handed the pot back to her.

"Well thank you for coming in." You slightly bowed to her, "Have a great day."

But the woman did not budge. Her green eyes studied your face. You felt your face flush as you parted your eyes away from hers. You shifted uncomfortably under her gaze.

"Can I help you?" You finally spoke up, having enough. The woman simply smirked.

"Yes, yes you can."
