Flinch

All Might loved congratulating his students when ever they did a great job with hero training.
"Great job young Midoriya. I'll meet with you later during lunch." All might whispered to him.
Midoriya nodded, and walked out.
Everyone else had left to go change except Todoroki.
All might went over to congratulate him on his job well done.
"Great job young Todoroki, your becoming great with your fire side." All might said.
The boy didn't look up at him at all. Just stared at his hands.
"Are you alright?" All might asked.
He didn't get an answer.
"Hey young Todo-"
All might put his hand on Todorokis shoulder.
He flinched. Hard.
He jumped forwards, sparks flew from his hair.
All might quickly pulled his hand back.
"O-oh s-sorry All might." Todoroki stammered
"Oh I'm fine! Didn't mean to frighten you there, are you alright?" All might asked.
"Oh... um yes. I'm okay."
Todoroki quickly hurried out to change.

All might started noticing signs of... abusive childhood in Todoroki.
He would constantly apologize for small things, was always distant from everyone, and he had constant mood swings as well.

But the thing he noticed the most was the flinching.

"Is Todoroki doing okay?" All might asked Midoriya.
"Huh! Oh um... I'm not really sure, he has told me he's been having trouble sleeping. And he seems more depressed than usual." Midoriya replied.
"I see. Thank you for telling me." All might said.
"Your welcome."

Todoroki would sometimes flinch when someone got to close, or when someone touched him.
All might started noticing these more often.

"How are things going young Todoroki?" All might asked.
"Oh... fine." Todoroki responded.

All might asked him that question frequently and he'd always respond with the same response.
"I'm fine."

All might had asked him today.
"Doing alright young Todoroki?"
"Why are you asking me this?" Todoroki responded.
That caught All might off gaurd.
"Well... I'm your teacher, I worry about you sometimes."
"You don't need to." Todoroki stated coldly.
"But I want to. I want to make sure your alright. If your ever having problems... you can come talk to me."
Todoroki stared at him for a second, then left the room.

"I'm definitely going to talk to Endeavor about this." All Might thought.

Bonus:

"You alright?" Midoriya asked when Todoroki walked into the dorm.
"I just need cuddles right now." Todoroki said, resting his head on Midoriya's shoulder.
"Alright then." Midoriya whispered, kissing the top of his head.
