2. The Big Apple

I wake up at nine in the morning with my alarm as usual. I go get ready in the bathroom then head to my closet and grab a pair of black skinny jeans and a plain black champion hoodie. 'This must be what its like to be rich. where ever you move you get new set of clothes?' I say under my breath, as I finish getting dressed. I grab my phone and, head to the door but before I get close to the door it opens and on the other side is Chelsea. She hands me a wallet, white box and a iphone. "who did you rob..." I say before she can speak then she laughs. "Your father told me to give you them. the wallet has your debit card for your allowance and your drivers license. Your father had it made yesterday by the secretary of state. I just finished making breakfast if you want some?" she says. I reply quickly with "I'll be sure to thank him. I think I'm going to go to starbucks for breakfast on the way to the college." She nods as i close my door and pass by her. I look around and go to the guest apartment where i saw the driver dissapper into last night after he parked the car. i make my way over and clearly he's home because I see him through the window he's nude and watching tv not doing anything with himself just sitting there. I must've stared too long because he looks over at me but not anger or nervous. He winked and smiled at me. i fall backwards from my crouched position and he comes out in underwear and says "oh my god. are you okay!" I say embaressed "yeah, I'm fine, your really tall and hadsome by the way." I say, then I notice his bulge. "Do you think you could drive me to starbucks?" I say shyly as he helps me up. "Sure, I'm gonna go put on some more clothes." as he is about to go in he gives a charming smile then says. "Do you mind if I go casual." i look at him and smile. "I've litterally seen you bare naked. We're past casual." I giggle. He cackles and makes a call then heads in as he says. "Hello, boss..." is all I hear before it is cut off by the distance. I follow him in and sit on his couch. I open my phone and start downloading my favorite apps. I smile for a moment when my eyes are covered but it triggers a flashback.

*FLASHBACK*
My mother was drinking with her boyfriend. I was thirsty. I go down stairs and my mothers boyfriend yells at me. "What the fuck are you doing down here bumming us out you little asshole." I quickly grab the water waiting a small amount of time to wait for it to cool my mother yells, "I pay the bills do you know ho wmuch water costs here its alot so turn it off." She takes another shot. I grab my glass and run up stairs ignoring them as they yell up for me to come down and how I'm the devil and how I'm ungratful. I go upstairs and hide under my desk I cover my eyes tightly and cry.
*END*

I start shaking, I drop my phone onto the floor. He notices and jumps over the couch and hugs me. He says quickly with a worried face. "I'm sorry, what happened. I'm so sorry. I was just trying to be silly. I start to cry as I shake. "I-I had a-a f-flashback" I say shaking, heaving, and crying. I lean into his strong chest and cry as my shaking and heaving calm slowly. "Its okay. you're safe. I wont let anyone even get near you if you want me too." I smile a little feeling safe in his strong grasp.

After a bit, we stop cuddling and I wipe my face of tears and look at the clock. "we need to go like right now" He looks at me confused and replies quickly. "why?" I turn. "I have a admissions interview for the computer science department at cornell. I'm gonna be a coder. I was working on an AI asistant. I'm close too. luckily I can work on it as son as I have a computer and a lab." I ramble nervously. He chuckles and does his charming smile that makes me have butterflys. He quickly grabs my head gently and says "Just relax you'll be just fine. let's go get you some starbucks on the way to cornell." he shakes my hand "we havent formally met yet though." he smiles charmingly. "I'm Matt, your bodyguard and driver." I say as we walk out. "I'm Cole" I smile but I'm confused. "Why bodyguard?" I ask as we enter the elevator. he is texting someone as the doors open again he finally answers my question. "Your father is a billionare senator going on 10 years now." I look up at him in shock as we leave the elevator. I head for the limo I arrived in but he leads me to the Tesla Model X.

He smiles again and I finally say before he speaks. "You should know that gives me butterflies and I love it." He does it again and I groan. he laughs and I bury myself in the seat as I set up the starbucks app and pay for our drinks and food. "I'm glad you said that because I could see it anyway thats why I asked your father if we could see each other" he smiles and I look at him shocked. "you outed me" I look at him angry but he just smiles and says. "I'm sorry. I thought you seemed cool and wanted to get to know you he is fine with it and we didn't want to tell you but I dont want to lie to you because I like you." I look at him annoyed. "damn, you have a way, it's fine just never break my heart."He looks at me saddened. "I would never hurt you cole I promise." He puts his hand on mine.

We arrive at starbucks and I get my coldbrew and bacon egg bites. When I take a sip, I smile and moan. As we pull out of the drive through Matt says "You really love coffee!" I giggle. "It is amazing I dont know how you can't be loving every sip of this." He puts his hand on mine again.
After a few blocks of new york city traffic we arive at cornell. I go in with my files for the interview and matt comes with me into the lobby he sits there while I go in.
After a tense 45 minute interview they finally said "We are proud to accept you into cornell full ride." I smile so wide my ears almost split. I stand and shake the interveiwer's hand we say bye to each other and leave quickly wanting to tell matt the good news. I come out pokerfaced and we leave he follows me and I get in the tesla. He gets in and is looking at me quizzically. I smile. "I got a full ride" He laughs hard and in excitment I'm assuming he kisses me and I kiss back. He deepens it then he licks my bottom lip and we start aggressively making out. After a quick second we pull away my lips and body are still electrified from the kiss and I look up to see his face full of panic and he almost starts talking but I kiss him again and he quickly shuts up. We pull away again and he says "do you mind if I take you on a date" and I say "I would love to go on a date with you." He smiles.
"Can you take me to best buy. please and thank you." I say shyly. He smiles. "You're too cute when you act all shy and sub-like that puts me in daddy space hardcore" I smile. "good to know" I smirk. we get to best buy pretty quickly because of less traffic now. I get three desk tops, a microsoft white board computer, surface 4 laptop. I grab a big shipment of computer parts, I get a server rack and a roku tv for my room.
Matt loads the tv, laptop, and the desktops into the tesla. Matt smiles at me wide. "what did you do." I smirk because I'm hopeful but preparing for the worst. He says "I told them to ship it to the hamptons mansion. I will let you use the living room of my guest house as your lab. my guest house has two living rooms. one on each floor." I smile "thank you" I kiss him and buckle up and say "to the hamptons" He laughs and I smile. Then we head off.

Little Later

We get there to see a futeristic lab being build with a super computer a range of diffrent things. I look over at matt. "thank you" He smiles. "thank your dad he is allowing me to do this." I smile. We drop off the things exept the TV then we head back to New York as we make our way home the sun is setting.

A/N- Hey, thank you for reading this book. Im trying to write a good romance novel but i dont think this is anywhere near top notch. If you would please point out grammar mistakes for me to edit that would be appreciated. I know this is a weird chapter. ive been having issures with my wi-fi so i fixed it so hopfully it will work faster. Also, just so anybody who read this knows how much I tried with this I kept this in editing two extra days to make sure it was perfect for you.
