I never really believed that love was just something that happened. I always thought it was a choice and I always told myself it was, until one day when I got into an argument with a stranger, who turned out to change my mind for the rest of my life. Would I ever get to thank them? Would I just change my mind again?
"Crap I'm gonna be late to work!" I ran out the door in a rush not having time to get coffee. I stopped by the coffee shop. "Hi Jade! Can I just have a black coffee?" I ask in a rush. Then the guy beside me says something I can't even imagine. "Do you believe in true love?" He says turning to me. "Love?! Love's just a waste of time. It's a choice. I don't wanna ever go through the pain and hardship." I said, keeping my gaze ahead of me, not turning to look at the man.
