"All right, I'm ready to go," I said, stepping up into the RV. Maggie had been having problems with her pregnancy and got really sick, so they were planning on taking her to Hilltop to see Doctor Carson, but everyone was worried about an attack from the Saviors.

"Where exactly do you think you're going?" Rick asked, grabbing hold of my backpack before I could get to the top RV step.

"Uh, to bring Maggie to Hilltop with you guys and beat the snot out of anybody who tries to stop us, duh," I explained and he sighed.

"Is there any way I can convince you otherwise?" he asked.

"Nope. I've already asked Tobin to watch Echo so I'm all yours!" I laughed as he let go and finished my walk into the vehicle. Daryl and the others still hadn't returned, so I was starting to worry, but I wasn't going to miss an opportunity to help them with this. It seemed like everyone wanted to volunteer to help, which was really nice. I was really pleased with this community and how close-knit it was that everyone wanted to do their part.

Once we got our group, which was Rick, Carl, Abraham, Sasha, Aaron, Eugene, and of course, Maggie, we were on our way. It wasn't long into the drive before we were stopped on the road by a group of people--Saviors, standing over a man laying on the road in front of them. Abraham, who was driving, promptly questioned the situation with a swear before stopping.

"Enemy close," he said after Rick questioned him, "Are we doing this?" he asked as everyone looked out the window at the group.

"No," Rick answered, backing up. We all grabbed our weapons before hopping out of the RV, I stayed in the back, trying not to be seen by the group, but also watching out for the RV in case anyone tried to sneak up and/or in during this conversation. I recognized the man in the middle who seemed to be the leader. I'd never known his name, but I'd seen Negan come out of rooms with him after conversations that would leave him either really happy or really angry. Rick instantly held up his arms in a surrender motion, not dropping the gun in his hand.

"He's someone who was with a whole lot of someones who didn't listen," the leader man spoke, looking down at the guy they were all standing over.

"We can make a deal right here, right now," Rick offered after a moment of contemplation. I had to physically restrain myself from shaking my head at the idea, keeping my gun aimed at the leading man's feet.

"That's right, we can. Give us all your stuff," the man demanded, "We'll probably have to kill one of you. That's just the way it is, but then we can start moving forward on business. All you have to do is listen."

"Yeah..." Rick trailed off, looking away and lowering his hands, "That deal's not gonna work for us," he replied, getting ready to aim his gun if need be, "Fact is, I was about to ask for all of your stuff, only I'm thinking I don't have to kill any of you... Any more of you," he explained. One of the saviors standing beside the leader simply began to shake a can of what I could only assume was spray paint. My assumptions were proven correct when he spray painted a big 'X' on the man on the ground's torso, then backed away.

"Sorry, my deal is the only deal. We don't negotiate," the leader spoke, though he didn't really seem too apologetic. Rick held up his hand, making a gesture and everyone around began to back up toward the RV.

"Then me and my people are leaving," Rick said, backing up without turning his back on the Saviors in front of us.

"Okay, friend," the man held up a hand, "Plenty of ways to get to where you're going," I stood at the entrance of the RV, making sure everyone else was able to get in before myself, and his eyes caught mine, just as Abraham was stepping up the steps of the RV, "You know, you already have something of ours. I think it needs to be returned," the man said and I felt my grip on the gun in my hand tighten.
