After ten minutes of literally doing nothing, you hear light knocks on the door, indicating that Kazuha is here. You quickly got up from the couch and happily opened the door, glad to see your best friend standing before you.

"Hi," he said softly.
"Hi," you replied, stepping aside for him to come in.

You both sat down on the couch and you picked up a bag of chips that you'd left from last night. You re-opened the pack and offered one to Kazuha, to which he ate from your fingertips.
"You're acting weird today," you said, wiping off your fingers on your hoodie.
"Am I? Do you like it?" he replied smiling, making you even more confused.
"Anyways, why'd you suddenly come over?" you asked, and he paused for a few moments before taking a deep breath and replying.
"I...have something to confess," Kazuha replied.
"What is it?" you questioned obliviously. Kazuha bit his lip and gulped.
"I..uhm," the words were on the tip of his tongue, but Kazuha just couldn't seem to get them out, "I..."
"Uhh yeah??" you encouraged, your impatient nature kicking in. This caused Kazuha to panic a bit. He didn't want you losing interest in what he's about to say.

"I like you," he finally blurted out. He sighed in relief that he managed to say it before you lost interest.

"What?" you were surprised, honestly. You didn't know how to feel. The two of you had been friends for so long, it almost feels strange to think of Kazuha that way. But the more you thought about it, the more you realised that you really didn't actually mind. You thought about all those times he had listened to you, laughed with you, taken care of you, and you thought that maybe he was already acting like a boyfriend to you, but you were too stupid to realise it.
You mentally slapped yourself for being so dumb and oblivious. How could you be this fucking stupid?
Now that the truth is 'revealed', every little action was so painfully obvious to you, like going over the test you thought was super hard when it was actually so easy you smack yourself for not realising it when you should've.
Kazuha had waited patiently for you to get over the shock, but he was getting worried.
What if you said no? What would happen to this friendship? He hated the thought of being on awkward terms with you. He didn't want to ruin this friendship just because he confessed his feelings for you.
"So...uhm," Kazuha murmured, loud enough to snap you out of your thoughts.
"Oh sorry. I..." you hesitated from the nervousness, and Kazuha was already bracing for the rejection because of the uneasy look on your face and he turned away from you to look at the floor.
"I like you too," you finally said after what seemed like years to Kazuha. The words that flowed out of your mouth rushed into his ears like music, and he took a few seconds to process what you just said.
"Wait, you do?" He asked in confusion. He didn't think you'd actually like him back, he just thought he would get over his passing crush and get on with his life. But he was elated, and he wanted to hug you and love on you so much but he held back to be polite. He didn't want to push you.
"Yes, you idiot! I do," you flicked his forehead and smiled at him playfully. His confused expression shifted into a gentle smile as he grabbed the hand you flicked his forehead with. He entangled his fingers with yours and squeezed it lovingly. He was speechless at the turn of events.
Suddenly, you broke away from his hand and opened your arms wide, asking him for a hug. He gently melted into your embrace, and you ran your fingers through his hair while he burrowed his head into your neck. He gave you small, ticklish kisses on your neck which made you giggle and playfully try to pull him off.
As you two stayed in this embrace, the only thing on your minds were each other. You both were so engrossed in the moment that you didn't hear the door at the front unlocking and someone had entered the house.

"WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON HERE???"
