🍁Movie Night🍁

A/N I know! Finally an official chapter to ALAHD. This takes place about a month after the book, so sit back and enjoy a bit of comedy and fluff!

Harumi whistled as she spun a knife on her hand, being careful as to where the blade went. She had picked up the hobby of throwing knives, and was still trying to perfect the blade spin.

The doors to her room suddenly flung open, distracting her long enough for the blade to twist the wrong way. She caught it right before it could dig into her hand.

"There is such thing as knocking you know." She stated sarcastically. She looked up to see Lloyd with a guilty expression.

"Sorry, Ru. Didn't mean to mess up your practice." He apologized before walking over to her. Harumi noticed he had his arms tucked behind his back, peaking her interest.

He sat down and placed a gentle peck on her lips before reaching with one hand for the blade.

"So, you like your birthday gift?" He asked curiously as he started fiddling with it himself.

"I love it! Definitely a change from a dagger though." She declared matter-of-factly. Lloyd nodded as he handed it back. "So what do you have behind your back?" She finally asked.

Lloyd's smile grew as he held out two tickets. Harumi grabbed one and read the movie.

"Starfarer 5?" Her eyes lit up an excitement as she drew Lloyd in a tight hug. "I love movie theaters! Thank you!" She cheered.

"I thought you'd like it!" He beamed as they pulled away. Harumi once again examined the ticket, then furrowed her eyebrows.

"Isn't Cliff Gordon dead? How'd they make another movie?" She asked curiously.

"They hired a new actor that supposedly looks a lot like him. Jay wasn't too happy about it, but I'm sure they did a good job." He explained. "We have to head out in an hour, I'll let you get ready."

Harumi nodded as she gave him a hug, then watched him leave.

An hour later, Harumi stood in front of her vanity, brushing out the last section of hair. She decided to leave it down today, along with her bangs perfectly lined on her forehead. She wore a jade green sweater and genes with a matching gold and white purse strung on her shoulder.

She smiled, deciding she was ready to go.

Harumi walked into the living room at the same time as Nya, who was all dressed up as well.

"Where are you going?" Harumi inquired the raven haired girl.

"Me and Jay are going to the movies to watch Starfarer 5. Where are you going?" Nya responded.

"Same place! That's funny." The white haired girl laughed.

"Yeah, sure is!" There was an awkward pause, both the girls not sure what to say. Thankfully, Jay and Lloyd walked into the living room, both of them stopping for a moment. Without skipping a beat, they both said the same thing,

"Where are you guys going?"

Harumi and Lloyd stood patiently in the long line to the ticket booth, with Jay and Nya behind them.

A familiar couple got in line, drawing Lloyd's attention.

"Mom?! Father?! What are you doing here?!" He asked shocked. Garmadon and Misako waved to him with guilty smiles on their faces.
