" Open your house door" I said to my girlfriend on the phone.
" Babe it's literally 7 in the morning" she said walking towards her house door and opening it .
" Ooo it's a package" she said to me and opened the package.
" Wait switch to video call" I said and she did.
" No wayyy it's the necklace I've really wanted, chocolate cake and there's my favourite flowers. Nat I can't believe you did all that . That's so sweet. You're so thoughtful. I mean this is just ....You're the best" she said sobbing a little.
" Oh my god baby don't cry" I said over call.
" No it's just so sweet and no one 's ever done something like that for me. You're just setting the bar so high right now " she said sobbing.
" I know you've been a little stressed lately with studies and you did so well on that test. I just wanted to get you something that would make you happy and show you how proud you I am" I said and walked through the door of her house.
"You've been here this whole time?" she said walking towards me and pulling me into a hug.
" Yes I have love"I said hugging her.
" This is so sweet. You're the best girlfriend. I got really lucky with you" she said still sobbing and pulled me into a kiss.
I pulled away. I wiped her tears.
" Also , I'm the lucky one darling" I said.
" Shush" she said.
" As much as I want to debate about who the lucky one is, we have chocolate cake to eat" I said.
" Yeah we do" she said. She held my hand and led me to the couch. She sat down on the couch and I was just about to sit down next to her when she grabbed me and pulled me onto her lap.
"This is the perfect seating arrangement" she said grinning.
" Yes it is. You're adorable" I said blushing a little and planting a kiss on her cheek.
She grabbed a spoon and was about to feed me cake but I stopped her.
" No it's your cake you eat it first" I said taking the spoon from her hand and feeding the cake to her.
" Its so good" she said .
We finished the cake soon.
She was staring at me with adoring eyes which was making me blush.
" Stop staring at me like that" I said.
" Never" she said and pecked my lips.
" You're perfect. You look so good on my lap" she said grinning.
" You're being adorable right now. I'm going to have to kiss you unfortunately" I said and pulled her in for a kiss.
She pulled away after a couple of seconds.
" Babe I want to wear the necklace you got me" she said.
" I'll put it on you" I said grabbing the necklace from the box beside her.
I opened the loop of the necklace and hooked it in again behind her.
" It looks so elegant on you" I said.
" Yeah it's so pretty. Thank you love" she said hugging me tighter.
" We should probably put the flowers in a vase" I said trying to get up but she pulled me closer not letting me leave.
" We can do that later. I want to cuddle with you some more right now" she said and hugged me tighter and I just melted. I have the cutest most adorable girlfriend in the world. I thought to myself.
