Michi stared at her sister in pure and utter shock as she explained the whole situation about what transpired during their study period. Her face paled considerably, especially when she mentioned the price of the vase.

"I'm sorry... Did I hear you correctly," Michi choked out, gaping at her sister. "¥8,000,000? Did you say ¥8,000,000?"

Haruhi groaned as she lightly banged her head against it. She let out an exaggerated sigh before looking at her sister. "You don't have to rub it in my face, Michiru... I know I messed up."

"We-we can't pay for that," Michi squeaked, biting her nails nervously. "That- that's more than everything we own combined."

"That's why-"

"-He's the Host Club's dog."

Michi jumped at the sudden introduction of voices joining their conversation. Haruhi groaned again in annoyance, leaning back in her desk chair. Peaking from under her bangs, Michi looked over toward the sources. Her body froze at the sight of the twin boys from before- the ones that sat behind her and her sister in class. They were staring at the two of them with beady-looking eyes and shit-eating grins across their lips.

"You didn't forget about your debt, Haruhi," the twins spoke up suddenly, making Haruhi freeze. "Boss said he wants you to grab some groceries." They looked toward Michiru with blank expressions. "Who's this again?"

Michi shivered internally at their synchronization. She shied away from their sudden attention as her sister slowly gathered her things and stood up. She and Haruhi were close and would also often say things at the same time, but not to their degree. It was like they shared one brain cell.

"We introduced ourselves this morning... This is my twin sister, Michiru... Michi, this is Hikaru and Kaoru. They're from the club I... work for."

The two gingers stared at her in sudden interest, leaning forward as they took in her appearance. Michi shrunk away a bit as they got closer. She could feel their eyes on her as she stood before the pair of boys, waiting patiently, trying not to fidget or let any emotion show.

Finally, one of them leaned forward, tilting his head and studying her critically. "Your hair is horrible," he commented bluntly, making her look away nervously. "It's too long; it's like you have no eyes. And what's with the braids? They're a mess. You look like a creepy doll." He scrunched up his nose and shook his head disapprovingly, and she felt a spike of irritation course through her. How dare this arrogant jerk make such a comment about someone when they didn't even know them?

"Yeah, at least your twin dresses are half-decent, Haruhi- but what's with her hair?" he said harshly, making Michi flinch as she hid more behind her sister.

"Hey, nothing is wrong with Michiru's hair," Haruhi defended her sister, reaching behind her to grab her hand. "Stop making fun of her. Do you want me to get the stuff or not? What do you need?"

The twins rolled their eyes at her, waving their hands at her defensive behavior. Hikaru handed Haruhi a sheet of paper with a list of items to get. Haruhi hummed as she read over the list before giving the twins a slight glare.

"Am I supposed to pay for this myself," she asked, her face filled with annoyance. Kaoru sighed as he handed her an envelope. Haruhi took it reluctantly and checked inside. She nodded at the amount given to her before letting out a sigh. "Okay, fine... Come on, Michi. Let's go get them their stupid coffee." She started to walk out of the class.

Michi quickly fumbled around to grab her violin and her stuff as well before rushing after her sister into the hallway. She eventually caught up with her sister, quickly matching her stride with her as they walked. Michiru hummed softly as she walked. She sighed as she finally was able to somewhat relax by her sister's side, glancing back momentarily to see if the twin boys were behind them.
