Loving Life

Chapter 1: How our life started

         I never thought I would find someone who would really love me for me on a dating app. I really never thought that Tinder would be the app I find the love of my life on. It started out as just a joke, I really wasn't looking for anything serious. There I was one night, scrolling through tinder. One guy really caught my eye out of every single one I had passed. His name is Adam, he's 27 and honestly, he the hottest guy I've seen on this app so far. The second I swiped right, it said we had matched. I messaged him and said hello then went about my day hanging out with a friend of mine. This friend had wanted more but I just couldn't see it going anywhere. A little while after I had a message from Adam. He was in the hospital with kidney stones and was in a lot of pain but I had him laughing anyway. Later that night I called a friend of mine to get me out of the guys house that I was currently at. So, my friend came to get me, and Adam and I ended up calling each other and falling asleep on the phone together. The next day he was off of work, and I had nothing to do so I decided I would drive up to Jackson to see him and go on our first date. When I got there, he was waiting outside of his apartment. I parked my truck, and he came to open my door. I stared at him funny because no guy I had ever been with has opened my car door for me. "Are you alright?" he asked looking at me. "Yeah, it's just that no one has ever opened my door for me. So this is new." He laughed and shook his head. "Well then you've never been with a gentleman before." I nodded and hopped out of the truck. "If it's alright with you I would like to take your truck on our first date, and I'll drive." I nodded and started walking over to the passenger side of my truck when he met me by the door and opened it for me. I stood there baffled and got into the truck. The fact that this man had just opened my door and offered to drive my truck instead of making me drive has left me speechless. We pulled up to Texas Roadhouse, but it was packed. "The wait is an hour and a half, do you want to go somewhere else?" Adam asked me. I nodded and looked over at Buffalo Wild Wings. "Do you want to go there?" I asked him as I pointed across the street. We walked back to the truck and drove over to buffalo wild wings. As we sat down outside, I took a deep breath and looked over at him. "Are you nervous" Adam asked me. "Yes, I am actually, aren't you?" He laughed, nodded and then smiled at me. "I'm with a woman as gorgeous as you, of course I am." I could feel my cheeks turning red as I started blushing. "Adam, tell me you don't mean that. I'm sure you've dated girls that were even prettier than me." He chuckled and grabbed my hand. "No I really haven't, and I meant to tell you I go by my middle name, Kyle. Adam is my dad." He chuckled light heartedly as he told me that. We finished dinner and then went back to his apartment. "I know this is our first date, but I would love for you to spend the night with me." I looked into his eyes and smiled softly. "Sure, I'd love to. I didn't bring anything to sleep in though." He smiled as he walked me into his apartment, and I was greeted by two little dogs. "That one is Kira, she's mine and the other one is Gizmo. He's Bethany's dog."  I stooped down to pet them both and then followed Kyle into his bedroom.
