Spying is Easy.. But I have to do it with My worst Enemy

Chapter 6

I was woken up by something in my room, posibly the thunder storm outside but I looked at me closet, it was open just enought for someone to spy on me, I got up and walked over to my closet. I opened the door fast to see Cambri stumble out of my closet. She was wearing the white tee with a pink heart I gave her for her birthday one year . "Hey Bambi!" I growled at her. She quickly got up and tried to run but I tripped her and jumpped on top of her. "Where do you think your going? I'm just getting started." I growled. I could see her face full of fright when the lighting flashed. "I can explane!" She begged quietly. I thought it was a trick, trusting her was a huge rick and I wasn't about to take it. "Would I ever lie to you?" She asked. I growled and I saw her face again, it was over flowing with fright. "Madi, look I'm sorry, I thought it was a once in a life time thing but it wasn't! Look at you strong, independent, and the best spy in thw world." She said, I knew she was telling the truth by the way she forced herself to say that about me. "Your parents must be proud." She sighed. "My parents were murdered!" I growled. 

It flashed back at me, that one day we were at Dan's house. "Got you!" I heard Jess's playful scream rang. We were playing tag, we were both 5 at the time. I ran and taged Alex. "Got you!" I screamed running away as fast as I could. Dan smiled at us and flipped our burgers on the grill. I remember smiling at the well cooked food on the deck. I looked over at my parents, "Go on honey!" Dad smiled at me sitting down right next to me. I smiled and took the biggesst bite I could. Dan smiled at me, "Fine young little girl you have there Mike." He told my dad. My dad nodded and looked at me,"Pals for life!" He said was did our secret handshake that only we could do. Mom smiled at us, I knew she loved seeing us. Once we all were sitting and eating and enjoying ourselfs us kids decided to start up tag again. After a while my parents decided to stay the night, I was exided because back then me,Jess, and Alex were friends. We went out to the back desk to look at the stars. But thats when it happened, I heard one shot rang out, I looked at my parents, "Daddy?" I asked. Dad jumped up ran over to mom, she didnt move. "Dan! CALL 911!!" He yelled. Dan came running out, "DEBBIE CALL 911!" He screamed, runing to my mom. Dad looked at me, he looked worried, not about me but about my mom. Then it happened, another shot rang out, dad fell to the ground. I rushed to his side. "Daddy!" I screamed. He looked at me, "Madi, listen to me, everything will be fine. I promise." He told me putting his hand on my hand. I remember Debbie came out, she gasped and looked at me. "Daddy don't go!" I screamed. He looked into my eyes, "Madison, I love you. You are my world. And I will always love you, remember that." He told me. He took off his necklace, it was of a cop symbol  that said trust on it, I looked at him with tears in my eyes. "Madi, take this, it's yours now. I love you.\, and your going to be the best spy in the world, just like me." He said. "Pals for life." Were his last words. I screamed, Debbie ran to me, she held me. I ran to my mom. "Madi?" Mom asked. "Mommy!?" I nodded, i remember trying to hold back the tears. "Madison listen, be strong and brave. Remember who you are, never forget that." She told me. I looked at her the bullet got her in the stomach, I looked at dad, same, who ever did that knew that they would want to say good bye to me. "Madison, you are the strongest person I have ever met and remember that we will always be with you. We love you." She was gone. Debbie pulled me away and let the parimedics take them and see what they could do. Jess and Alex were staring at me the whole time, just looking at me. I didn't care, i just wanted my parents back. My mom was gone. And my dad, by number 1 best friend was gone, pals for life, gone. Dan ran over to us and took me from Debbie. I saw in his eyes that he was sorry for me. I looked over his shoulder to see my parents being loaded in the ambulence. I held beck the tears, I made a promise to my mom and dad to be strong. I was going to keep it. Later that night I remember that Debbie never let me go, "Madison, it's ok." She told me. I chenched my fathers necklace in my hand, wishing that this night never happened and that my parents were still here. That was the last night I saw my parents, no funeral, no nothing.
