Chapter 3

Mumu POV:
I woke up at 8:30 Ace was sitting on the couch watching tv and he said get up or your gonna be late. I got up used the bathroom and came back out opened the draws and pulled out a pair of skinny jeans that had rips at the thigh and a black Vneck shirt and on my feet I picked out my Gammas. I went in the bathroom took a quick 10minute shower I lotioned myself with my new Katy Perry lotion and then put my clothes on. When I stepped out the bathroom he said hurry up let's go so I grabbed my bag and ran down the stairs I said good morning to Ms.Lee and left out the house. Ace was leaned up against the car. He opened the door for me and went to his side he got in and we left he handed me a bag McDonalds and said here eat this. When we pulled up to the shop it was just opening his friend that worked with him and for him was sitting in there .One of his friends got out the car and said Daaaamn!! thats all you Ace dapped him and said Naaah Jay you know I don't mix business with pleasure. So can I get a piece of that Ace looked at him and said you can try she tough. I laughed. Jay looked at me asked me how old I was I igno bfzred him and walked into the shop I sat down and ate. When I was done I threw my garbage away and started to clean up. Jay called me shawty all day no matter how many times I told him my name Was MuMu. When the shop was closing I told him to drop me off at NayNay house so he did he told me he was coming to get me at 10 I said alright I got out and walked up the stairs. NayNay looked at me with disappointment in her eyes. I hugged her and we begin to talk bout everything that's been going on since last night. How he bought me to his house talk to me held me and everything and how he told me bout his life. NayNay said I better not make any dumb decisions I said I'm not. We did our little hand shake and she told me how things was going with her and her boyfrien she told me he was coming to get her at 10 I said I'm leaving at 10 so I won't have to see his face. We both laughed. I called Ace and told I was ready to leave because NayNay and Frank was getting ready to leave he said ight. When he got here Frank was just pulling up they started to talk and he finally told me to come on so I got in the car and he said I'm taking you out to eat so where u wanna go? I wanna go to Chillis. When we got there the man was just sitting there Ace yelled at him and asked him was he just gonna sit there. He still sat there so Ace took the menu and walked up stairs.
⏰Minutes pass⏰
We ordered our food we waited to get our food. While we was waiting we were getting to know each other. We already knee the basic things about each other. He told me bout the streets and how they worked. I was really into him but like he said he don't mix business with pleasure so were going to stay friends.
When our food came we ate and talked I was smiling the whole time then his ex girlfriend walked passed us he put his head down and continued to talk. When he did that I looked at him asked what happen. Nothing shawty don't worry. I got up and walked to the bathroom. When I got back he was on his phone texting somebody. I sat down and asked him was he ready to tell me who that girl was. He finally told me after the 3rd time. He said remember the girl I told you bout my ex that want me back yeah I replied. Well that's her. Daaamn why u leave her?! We both laughed!!!! He replied because she crazy and annoying sl.
We continued to eat our food I was full from eating so I bought my food home. And then he asked did I want desserts nah I'm good i replied. He said your taking something home so he ordered to big cookies to go. We payed and left the restaurant. It was quiet ride home. When he pulled up to the house he said he not staying tonight but you know what time to be up and ready. I said Igh and walked in the house.
Ace POV:
I was driving home blasting music august alsina Hold You Down came on I was singing and driving then I came to a red light I stopped. While I was waiting for the light to change I called my boy Jay to see what was going on at the shop when he answered he was acting lost because he was high so I yelled at him.
Ace & Jay conversation

Ace: good cos I gotta drop sumem off

I hung up and made my over to the shop. When I pulled up the block was quiet for once that was weird and unless they gotta do a drill . The shop that my block is on is my hood. FTONW (FUCK THE OPPS NuNu WORLD ALL DAY) that's all we rep around here and if u repping sumem else u better watch yourself. Usually theres music and girls hanging out with a lot of boys. The boys either on the corner on the side of the chicken spot playing dice or sitting on somebody porch talking. When I walked in the shop I seen Jay just sitting there he looked high sl and slumpt.
I dapped him and asked what's going on.
Jay looked at me and said shorty you bought in here earlier friend boyfriend just got shot.
I looked up at him with a surprise look on my yum face. I locked up the stash I had to bring over and headed towards the hospital. When I driving there I was speeding and the police ended up behind they flagged me down to pull over. So I did. They asked for license nd registration so I gave it to them and they said
don't do it again this just a warning I'm not gonna give you ticket just watch your speed.
Daamn smh. I continued to drive til I got to the hospital. I walked in there like I owned it.
Where is Franklin Howard?
He just got rushed in. He's moving to the surgery room. While I waited I seen Nay Nay and her cousin Bianca come in. What happened NayNay asked me with an attitude.
Idk I just got told he got shot so I rushed over here. His mother walked in yelling at me. I was lost as they were. She sat down crying. I didn't know what to say or do I sat there thinking who would possibly do this. The Howard Family The receptionist called out. We walked up to the desk she said Mr. Howard is in room 219 2nd floor right hand side. I got on the elevator with all these complaining ladies they were getting on my nerves. When we got up there the doctor was in his room.
He had got grazed in the side of his head and he got shot in his arm. I gave him pain killers so he won't feel the pain. But you can come in. The doctor explained.
We all walked.
Ayeo Frank how you feeling?!
I'm good it's just I'm in pain and whoever did this when I get out of here tmrw morning I'm getting them and the whole Gang.
We talked to him a lil while longer.

5minutes later I was getting ready to go I dapped the boys and left. When I was driving home I gotta text from Tylasia one of my side chicks even though I don't have a main one no more. She said she needed to talk.

I put my attention back on the road when I pulled in front of my house I pulled in the drive way and parked my car I sat there for a Lil while and then got out. When I walked up to the house I felt at peace nobody  was here to bother me or tell me what to do or anything. I'm all alone.  when I got to my room I laid down and began  to  nod off  then I heard my phone rang. I looked at it and it was a message from MuMu

After that I got up and got in the shower and when I was in the shower thinking Theo myself what she had to talk to me about. I forgot that I had music playing. I hold you down came on. I begin to sing to it. 15th later I got out and threw some basketball shorts on and laid down watched tv. I been to drift off in a deep sleep.
