The wind was bitter and sharp as i stepped out my door. The weathers been below freezing and promises of snow, perfect for dog walks. I picked up Lilly's leash and set off. The small droplets of morning dew covered he fields just like a massive blanket. The sun beamed on the grass, drying off the wet and cold.
We finally reached home and I began to unleash Lilly. Her warm fully coat, matted into Clumps of mud. I ran a small warm bath with some bubbles. I checked the temperature and placed her in. The bath flooded with dirt and I began to wash her off. I grabbed her towel and started to dry the hair. I dried her off and headed back downstairs, the radio was blasting with news about mclarens new driver, the name sounded familiar. Lando Norris?
I pulled from out the cupboard a small bowl to play my cereal in, i poured my cornflakes until the rim of the bowl. I added my milk and grabbed my spoon. I placed myself onto the sofa and turned on my tv. I scrolled through the channels until I found one that suited my liking. I turned on sky sports and saw that my dad, toto wolf was being interviewed about Mercedes' new car. This year will be different and the car will have a few new surprises aswell.
I finished my bowl of cereal and have some cuddles with Lilly. My phone rang on the tabke and I stretched to grab it. It was dad calling, I answered it and see him on FaceTime with Lewis Hamilton?
"Hey dad and Lewis what's up?" I said repositioning into sitting up.
"Hey honey, just wanted to let you know if you want, you can come to the annual first meal of the race year!? He said, smiling from ear to ear. I have always had social anxiety and dad has been a massive supporter with it. He suffers aswell, but over the years, he's gotten use to this! I pondered on it for a second and thought why not! What could go wrong?
"Yeah okay dad, what time and where?!"
"I'll pick you up at 5! Does that sound good?" He asked. I said that was fine and hanged up.
Now I just got to pick what' to wear, I grabbed Lilly out of her sleep and carried her upstairs. I placed her in her little bed and tucked her in.
