Chapter 23: running away?

Alicia's POV

It's been a week since I got out of the hospital. The days in the hospital were pretty boring but I got my permit taken away for driving without an adult so yay me sike.

Micheal and I haven't really talked after the incident but it's whatever I don't even want to talk to after remembering how he treated me my whole life. I finally decided to get out of bed since it was 11:45 am.

I walked to my closet and grabbed my green flannel I got from hot topic the other day with Alex paired with acid washed shorts and combat boots. I grab my phone and text Alex if he wants to hang out and to meet at the park.

I went downstairs grabbed a water bottle and an apple. I didn't even bother leaving a note or tell Michael I was leaving because he wouldn't care.

I leave the house and walk to the park I soon see Alex creep up on him "AHHHHH"I yell and laugh as he jumps he playfully hits my arm " hey what's up I heard you dropped out of school too" I say excited maybe I won't be alone cough Michael.

"Yea I'm a lone wolf now I bought my own apartment because I ran away from home my parents are jerks" he says "that's cool I know the feeling Michael yells at me every time I get upset about him leaving" I say looking down.

"Hey I need someone to help pay rent wanna run away" I think about it for a second should I though? " What the hell sure Michael want to send me to my crazy aunt when he's gone he wouldn't care come help me pack" I say while standing up he nods so we start walking to my house I didn't even know if Michael was there but I didn't care.

I open the door and hear a lot of hi's I didn't know the guys would be here today but then again I don't talk to Michael so in my defense how would I know. I say a little hi and walk to my room grab my bag from under my bed a start stuffing clothes inside " start grabbing stud from the bathroom and packing it in this bag please" I asked while tossing him a white and black.

I hear foot steps coming to my room I quickly hide the bags and turn on Netflix. Alex and I pretend to watch mean girls when luke opens the door " hey Alicia... Who's he" he asked.

"This is Alex my only friend we have a lot in common and he's cool" I said pointing to him "shouldn't he be at school" luke scowled " He dropped out also luke why did you come here" I asked getting annoyed " I was gonna ask you something but never mind" and with that he stomped away.

He's like a five year old he's so annoying " sorry about that Alex SOME PEOPLE ARE RUDE" I yell the last part loud enough that luke could possibly hear me.

"It's okay let's keep packing" Alex said walking around and stuffing things in bags.

After hours of packing I say good bye to Alex and go to sleep.
