Prepositional Phrase
By james a. galgano
On the shallow end of the pool where love never drowns alone
In the middle of traffic where your tears can never be seen
On the other side of the world where lovers meet and part in a matter time
In an empty house where no one can see you cry not even you
In middle of a sentence where love reveals what has always been concealed
Underneath your clothing where your heart is beating still in hope
Beside the woman you may never but deep inside long to be
Outside yourself where you often see loneliness consume you whole
Through the years you have watched all sadness whittle you away
Into each tomorrow where your dreams cling for that miraculous moment
Over the years, which now makes that moment seems now so far
Around the time you thought all seemed so lost and lonely
Inside the woman you once found yourself forever wanting to be
Within her arms holding you for dear life in a love dreams long to come true
Without that hope all seems so lost and forgotten without remorse
Among your memories you measure what might have been
Beneath her love overwhelming you with a joy never known before
Onto a ledge where you find yourself wondering should life go on alone
Toward the fairy tale love you find sparkling in her loving eyes
Upon her warmth where you lose yourself never wanting to be found
Between the covers while your love becomes a willing captive sublime
Next to her where you want to be forever until the end of time
Near her warmth and undying affection you long to be eternally
With every moment together creating unforgettable memories
At that precipice where you long to leap into her loving arms forever
