Tomorrow's Friday, so Stella, Carter, Bri and I are going to head down to the pier by Venice. It was kind of a thing we did before I moved so we decided to keep the tradition going.
After school, my mother picked me up. Once we got home, I grabbed my Oneall board and headed for the beach. After a few hours of surfing I was just about to head home when I was interrupted.
"I was watching you out there, and damn you're good. I'm Liam by the way." The stranger, well Liam said. "Well thanks. And I'm Ivy." I responded smiling. "Are you in the competition in Venice beach this Friday?" he asked. "Well actually I was going to head over there to watch the competition with my friends. I can't join yet since I'm not 18."
"Oh seriously? I could of sworn you looked older. How old are you then?"
"I'm actually 17. I go to Richmond High."
"Oh no way, I went there for high school too. I go to UCLA now just down the block."
"Oh so you're a college guy huh?"
"That's right. Me and my friends always surf on this beach. I'm surprised I haven't seen you here before."
"Well I just recently moved back in Malibu. I grew up here but then I moved to Georgia for a year. But now I'm back."
"Then maybe sometime we can get lunch or something"
"Sure that's sounds great!" I said that smiling as he gave my his number. Liam is so gorgeous. He has amazing brown hair and beautiful eyes with a rocking six pack. He's so out of my league, but hey what the hell right. My last boyfriend was nothing like Liam. I really hope things go well. But I'm getting ahead of myself.Once I got home I took a long bath. I felt the muscles in body release as I sink into the warm water. That's when I got a text from Stella.
Still on for Venice Friday right?
After I responded I put on my white t-shirt and pineapple shorts and went to sleep. My mom's off with some hot date she already met so I'm all alone, which I hate.
When I wake up, I do my normal morning routine of coffee, makeup, then breakfast. My car's going to be in the shop for a couple for days so I still go with Harry and Carter to school. When I go outside I see them making out not even realizing I'm here. This is usually for Carter and her boyfriends. It's so annoying. I got in the car and slammed the door really hard so they can notice I'm here. "Oh hey. Sorry I didn't see you there" Carter said. No kidding. Harry was playing Studio by schoolboy q which I love. Surprised it's not heavy metal or something.
The campus at our school is gorgeous. It's near Pepperdine college so it has a view of the water. Its so hard to concentrate in class with that type of view.
I saw a sign up sheet for surfing tryouts. I decided to put my name down. I definitely have to practice before though, since everyone who gets on the team is amazing. Harry's trying out too. I saw his name on the sheet... great... I can't picture him as a surfer. More like a punk rock-in a band- type of guy.
Just got a text from Liam
lunch today?
I responded with a yes and a wink. I hope that doesn't sound to childish. I have never dated anyone that much older than me. How old is he anyways?
After school I went home real fast, straightened my hair and put on a little sun dress and sandals. Normally I have blonde wavy beach hair but I love when it's straight
We are meeting for lunch at Marty's. It's this cute this place right by the water. I guess everything in Malibu is on the water. They have the best lobster in California. I'm so excited and I don't even know why. Maybe because Liam is like the coolest guy I know and asked ME to lunch.
I got there a little late but I'm sure he won't mind. As soon as I get there I see Liam at the table. My heart is beating so fast, I feel like I'm going to throw up, that's how nervous I am. Oh god Liam looks so handsome. He's not even dressed up, but he still looks fine as hell.
"Well don't you look gorgeous" he said smirking. Aw he's so cute. He's the gorgeous one. "Well thank you" I blushed. After we talked abit, i ordered pasta."So there is this small little party going on at my campus and I was wondering if you wanted to come with me" he asked. I can tell his is kinda nervous. "You mean as your date" I winked. "Yeah something like that" he answered.I have to admit I'm extremely nervous about this. I have never been to college party before. Especially with a guy I just met a couple of days ago who is way out of my league. The party is tonight and I still have school tomorrow so it's not like I can stay up till 4 in the morning. Guess we will just see what happens.
After lunch, Liam came over my house since we still have a couple of hours till the party. Liam drives this awesome jeep like me, but his is way nicer. We finally got to my house. "My moms out getting grocery." I said .
"Is it just you guys living here?" he asked
"Well my brother's in college. He goes to University of Hawaii. That lucky bastard. So yeah I guess it's just us here."
"Nice. Your house is gorgeous."
"Thanks man"
I gave him a quick tour of my house then we headed to my bedroom. He noticed my surf boards.
"Aw no way you have the same Oneall board as me! Did you get it here."he asked.
"Yeah down at Ron Johns."
Then he noticed my trophies."Junior surf campion huh?" he smirked.
"Guess so." I smiled back
"And you have the limited edition penny board? Man we got to chill more often. I didn't know you were so cool." Is that a compliment or an insult? There's still something about Liam that really attracts me. You know, besides the fact that he is the hottest guy in Malibu. We headed to the kitchen to eat before the party. Right then Liam grabbed me and started to kiss my neck. He pushed me toward the counter till there is no space between us and I'm leaning on the table top. The body heat between us is intense. His soft lips slowly kiss their way down to my breast. I'm breathing hard and right before it gets good I hear the front door open so we pulled apart. Great timing mom.
"Oh I'm sorry. Hi I'm Ivy's mom. You are?" My mother asked Liam.
"It's Liam. I'm Ivy's friend." He responded. Friend?
"Ivy why don't you help me unload the groceries. Then you are free to do whatever". I forgot to ask her about the party. Oh well.Me and Liam grabbed the last batch of bags when he pulled me close and whispered "Till next time". That made my knees weak. Now I kinda wish we could stay home and skip the party to finish what we started. Before we left I put on a pair of ripped black jeans and a tie dye top. We took Liam's car to the campus. I don't even think I have ever seen the UCLA campus, especially go to a party there. The party turns out to be at this Fraternity house.
I can already tell this is NOT a small party like Liam said. Liam put his arm around me when we walked inside. I'm started to wonder if I should really trust Liam, I mean this party is crazy and I did just met him a couple of days ago. That's when I see a bunch of guys smoking a blunt on the couch. And surprise surprise Harry is here. I could tell he was a druggie. But why is he at a college frat party?
"Hey guys. This is Ivy. Be nice alright" he told the guys.
"What the fuck are you doing here?" Harry asked me.
"I could ask you the same question" I responded.
"Whatever. You're just a lame freshman at a party she shouldn't be" he snared
"I'm actually 17, therefor a senior jackass" I snared back. Harry took another hit from a bong. He looks high as fuck right now. This is exactly how I pictured this party. They are playing a bunch of Drake songs and everyone is high or wasted. I'm not going to lie, I'm actually kinda happy to be here. Everyone's dressed in my style of clothing and smiling and having a good time. This guy dressed in all black walked in my direction stumbling. He stopped just before me and handed me a red solo cup. Thinking before I took the drink, I put it to my lips and took a sip. I chugged some more down and suddenly felt.. different, I felt more relaxed. It's like something in me I don't know, changed.
