A Paw Patrol Story 9:The Battle For The Last Champion Child

Prologue

1 month before the Calamity…

A young Rockruff was traveling through the forest of Hyrule with her mother.

???:Mother, when will you introduce me to your friends?

???:Soon dear, now is just not the right time.

???:Is this about Matthew?

???:Yeah, that little human has been going through a lot of stress lately, can't say that I blame him.

???:I can't wait to meet him in-person one day.

???: He's gonna love you with all his heart.

???: Mother, I never quite understood the point of being a champion.

The Lycanroc chuckled as she licked her daughter's face.

???:As you, I am your mother, Nora, the Lycanroc champion. Just like Nathan, I have the power of the earth.

???: I know, but what does it mean to be a champion?

Nora:To fight for everyone, not just for Hyrule, but for every world that is out there, to lay down our lives and save everyone.

???:Lay down your life?

Nora:I know that sounds scary, but I promise, you won't be alone.

???:What do you mean?

Nora:When the time comes, you'll understand.

5 years later…

That same Rockruff was sitting by a river, completely covered in tears.

???:(Sobs) I know you wanted me to stay strong, but I can't! I hate being alone!

The Rockruff then heard her stomach rumbling.

???:(Sighs) I better go find something to eat.

The Rockruff got up and started to look for fruit in the nearby forest.

???:(Sniffs) Usually there are a lot of berries in this area.

Suddenly, three members of the Yiga Clan appeared, instantly trying to shoot at the Rockruff.

???:Oh no.

The Rockruff immediately started running as fast as she could.

???:(I need to get out of here!)

Suddenly, a portal appeared in front of the Rockruff.

???:(I can't believe I'm doing this, but I have no choice!)

The Rockruff immediately jumped into the portal as it closed.

Yiga Clan Soldier:Was that part of the plan?

Yiga Clan Soldier #2:Yeah, now those who support our cause on the other side will deal with that champion brat!

Somewhere in a different world, a young doberman wearing knightly armor was tending to his dragon.

???: Okay Sparks, are you feeling better?

The dragon let out a soft roar as he nuzzled the pup.

???:(Giggles) (Matthew was right, now that I am keeping Sparks calm, he trusts me completely and has become more playful and friendly.)

The pup then noticed that his dragon seemed distracted by something.

???:Sparks?

The pup looked up, seeing that a strange comet was falling from the sky and had landed nearby in the forest.
