The Dog and the Cat

Barks and Meows

A dog and a cat, oh boy and a rat!
Together they chased the rat, though so fat.
So fat they could never catch em on their own, and thats a fact.
But together... together they could do it. Though they did not know...

So the dog tried and tried, and failed and failed. All his efforts, to no avail.
The cat chased and chased, in haste, but for waste. couldn't even reach first base...
No hope, no future - truly the loser.

This was their tale.
What a fail.

Until one day, they saw eachother and would say,
"Lets try this together, ay?!"

Together, chased and chased. Scurried, in hurries.
Then BAM!! And WHAM! Did they bring home the ham?

They did. And they rejoiced, for the trophy they could hoist.
Trophy in claw, paw on paw, yet now locking eyes, they were in awe.
The beauty, the snooty - the cutie, the booty.

Love at first catch, they were a match.
RUFF! RUFF!! Oh, what a cuff!
MEOW! MEOW!! Oo shes in now!
