Because it's almost valentines day, I wanted to write a short story about what I imagine a valentines day would look like with Jocke.

Joakim was my best friend, we were always together. Our other friends had always shipped us, but we always tried to ignore it.

I had noticed though, that the last few months, Joakim had been acting even closer to me than before. He would give me hugs all the time, he always wanted to help me and he was sad when we couldn't hang out.

Because of his behaviour, I had started thinking about how it would be to be together with him. The thought of that didn't disgust me at all, it did quite the opposide actually. It gave me butterflies.

So today is valentines day and I secretly wanted Jocke to get me something, even if it was just a letter. I was ready to confess my feelings if he was too.

Of course, I had bought something for him. It was just something small though, but I thought it was really cute and funny. It was a bottle opener ring.

I didn't dare to get him something romantic, because I was just affraid of rejection, so I got him a present that could easily be shrugged off as a joke.

The whole time, I felt this exploding excitement in my stomach and I couldn't stop smiling. My parents looked at me like I was some kind of alien.

The guys: Joakim, Pär, Chris, Hannes and Tommy had asked to hang out for today.

After I ate pancakes for breakfast, I made myself ready and went out.

It was only a twenty minute walk to Tommy's, that's where we decided to hang out.

Only five minutes on the way, I came across Hannes, so we walked the rest of the way together.

He was telling me about his girlfriend Floor. She was so nice and pretty, but she unfortunaltely couldn't come because she had to go somewhere with her parents.

''So Willow, did you already get something for valentines day?'' Hanned asked me.

Hannes of course shipped me and Joakim. He was the worst. He'd always make this jokes about Jocke and I being together.

''Nope and I'm also not expecting anything.'' I lied.

Of course I was expecting something, no I was hoping. I wished Joakim would finally ask me out.

''Of course not.'' He said with a teasing grin, pushing me playfully with his shoulder.

When we arrived at Tommy's, we didn't even have to knock on the door, because Chris opened the door as soon as we stood in front of it and pulled us inside.

In the living room, Tommy, Pär and Joakim were sitting on the couch.

As soon as Joakim noticed me and our eyes locked, a smile broke free on his face.

I felt my own lips turn up and butterflies fluthered through my stomach.

Hannes pulled me with him on the other couch and Chris joined us.

The guys had put on Evil Dead apparently.

I loved horror movies, but that movie always scared the shit out of me though.

"You wanna switch Willow?" Pär asked me, before he was going to press play.

Pär had been sitting to Joakim, so it was very obvious that he wanted me to sit next to Jocke.

I blushed embarrassed, but nodded anyways.

After we had switched places, Pär pressed play and we all started watching the movie.

My leg was pressed against Jocke's. It made the tingly feeling in my stomach only worse.

I wasn't even really watching the movie, all I could think about was how close we were sitting to each other.

When we were about half an hour into the movie, I felt Jocke's hand slide over my arm into my hand.

My breath hitched in my throat. Our fingers interwined and he gave my hand a soft squeeze.

I felt my face and ears burn up.

It felt so good to be close to him like this, but it also made me so nervous.

We gave each other hugs all the time, but this just had such a diffrent meaning than the hugs.

Somehow, I had build up some courage and put my head on his shoulder.

I didn't have to look up to know that he was smiling.

Throughout the movie, there were a few jumpscares. I wasn't really scared that time, but I had always been very jumpy, so I still jumped quite a few times.

Every time that I jumped, Joakim would sofltly squeeze my hand and stroke the back of my hand.

When the movie was finished, I didn't want to get off of Joakim so I just kept laying against him like it was totally normal.

Of course being close to people is normal, but since everyone was shipping us and we normally didn't have the guts to be this close to each other, it felt like a big deal.

Suddenly, a flash came from the other couch. As I turned my head towards it, I saw Chris quickly putting his phone away. He had taken a picture of us.

I wasn't angry at him though, I'd really like for him to send me that picture.

To my dismay, Joakim let go of my hand and gently put me upright so I wouldn't fall over when he stood up.

He just walked away without saying anything.

I questionally looked at the other guys. They all just shrugged.

Tommy, was smirking really suspiciously though. Tommy had never been good at keeping secrets and lying.

Not even a minute later, Joakim returned. He was smiling, but looked really insecure.

He was holing a gorgeous dark red rose in his hand and in the other was a box of valentines chocolates.

I blushed furiously. He was so cute and sweet.

Suddenly, it was really akward. The other guys were wistling and smirking.

I gathered some courage and stood up from the couch and walked towards him.

He was trying to keep cool, but it was obvious that he was nervous as hell.

"I got you something." He said after akwardly coughing.

I thanked him and gave him a big smile as I took the rose and chocolates from him.

I noticed his hands were shaking and felt so happy. He was so fricking cute. He always looks so tough, but he's actually a teddybear.

I reached into my pocket and grabbed the bottle opener ring.

"I also have something for you." I said as I gave it to him.

He immediately smiled and started laughing as soon as he saw what it was.

"Thanks, you know me too well Willow."

"Ahhh how cute." Tommy said teasingly.

"Just kiss each other already." Chris added.

Hannes walked to us and put the ring on Jaokim's finger and said:"Okay, now you're married." as he took the rose and chocolates form my hands.

I wanted to complain about him stealing my food, but Jocke took my hands in his and stepped closer.

"I would've kissed you right now if they weren't staring at us like the perverts they are." He said, smiling happily.

All I felt at that moment was pure happiness.
