Olivia POV
"Dad, what I am saying is Ava and her family are Vampires. But they aren't the reasons behind the killings." I said sipping my hot coffee. "But, Liv you said-"
"I know what I said Dad, and it was my fault, they don't kill people. I have heard Ava mentioning when she was in front of the Vampire saving the girl at the club, saying they don't kill people and they drink blood from only those who gives them consent. Meaning there are people who knows about them and are supplying blood willingly."
"Liv, how is that even possible." Dad questioned. "But it is dad, she could have killed you right away and she could have killed us but she din't."
"Liv maybe because—" I cut him off "Dad, she knew I was a hunter." I said deadpanned.
"What" I heard mom gasped and Liam exclaimed not believing what I said.
"When she leaned in my ear, and you thought she was going to bite me, she din't, she told me she knew I was a hunter but still she spent time with me because she had genuine feelings for me. She loves me dad" She loved me. Not loves. My mind thought but I ignored it.
"Liv, do you have feelings for her." he asked staring at me.
"Dad, I--" I stuttered.
"Liv do you have feelings for her?" he questioned again sternly. I nodded my head and heard him sigh.
"But that, it wasn't before, because all I thought about was I have to kill her so I had to gain her trust, but now remembering every moment we spent I have started to realize it that I like her." I said getting emotional, tears filling up my eye's blurring my vision.
I heard him standing up. "I–I don't know what to say Olivia. I need some time." and he left. The one thing that hurt me the most was he din't call me Liv. He called me Olivia.
I nodded my head understanding he might need some time. I bought my hands and covered my face trying not to cry. I felt a hand on my shoulder, I looked up to see Mom.
"Everything will be okay honey, he just needs some time." I nodded my head and she went were dad went.
I could feel Liam staring at me. "I can feel you stare, you can whatever you want to it's a free world"
"No, I mean when did you start liking her." he asked. I shrugged whipping my tears and looked at him. "I don't know, I just realized it when, I stopped receiving her good morning texts or when I could't hear her rambling when she's around me, or when I can't see her smile." I said remembering the times we have spent and when I wasn't thinking anything about killing her and being myself even if it was just for second's. But now it's not. I won't act.
"You sound like you are whipped." he said and I sent a glare towards him. "But I wonder, now that you said it every woman who does this, falls for people who used to give attention but when they don't then the girl likes them back. I mean that's what you did now right."
I felt angry hearing him say this but he is kinda true.
"Not all girl's tho" I muttered. "So it means that your so called fake Vampire girlfriend is not so fake now."
"She is not my girlfriend, yet" I said.
"What will you do now"he questioned.
"I have to try harder and apolozie–" "No no I mean yes you do that, I meant now how do we find the Vampires who are the one's killing." I felt a bit of brush creeping up my cheek.
"Ohh yes, I am pretty sure that Ava's family are looking into it now that Emma is dead too, and Ava loved her as if she was her mother. So now her parents would be finding the Vampire's." He just hummed.
