"Milo, sweetie your bus is coming soon" my mom yelled from downstairs.
I looked at myself in the mirror looking at my new schools uniform it consisted of a white polo shirt with the schools logo on it and a pair of navy blue dress pants which also had the school logo on them (also black shoes)
It was a pretty basic get up, I tried to style my hair but it just would not cooperate.
I took my glasses of to clean them and grabbed my backpack to head down stair to go to my first day of school in a new school for the fourth time in 5 years.
Yay.
"Hey right on time" my mom said as she made her way towards me to fix my colar
"Bye mom" I gave her a light hug and went outside right when the bus was pulling up
When I entered the bus there were only a couple spots left, I walked towards the back and noticed some people with my schools uniform.
There was a girl and a guy who looked like a couple talking to a girl behind them
"Loco es qu-" the girl in the seat by herself spoke before I interrupted her
"Hey, Do you mind if I sit here?"
She looked up from her conversation "YOURE NEW ARENT YOU?!" She exclaimed before patting the seat next to her
The couple infront of her turned around when they noticed she wasn't going to finish the story, the girl waving at me while the guy just turned around
"What's your name!?" The girl asked
"Milo, what's yours?"
"Kyla, but my friends call me Ky"
I took in her appearance, she had long brown hair that probably touched her waist when she stood, her tips were dyed pink but in like an ombré effect she had yellow French tip on all her nails except the ring finger which had flowers and our schools uniform but her shirt was not tucked into her skirt.
She was completely outside of dress code.
"Are you done checking me out?" She asked with a brow raised and a smug smile on her lips
"Oh uh sorry" I looked down at my pants
"Don't get me wrong I totally understand" she shrugged casually
"How did you know I was new?" I questioned her
"It's a small school so any new students are a blessing" she explained
"Ah"
"Okay so why'd you move schools?" She questioned
This was bound to be a long bus ride

"-um so yeah" I finished after telling her basically my whole life story I'm not sure why I did it but I felt sort of good
"Uff that sucks man" Ky said as we made our way out the bus
"Big time" I replied
"But on the brig-" she didn't get to finished because she was tackled into a hug by two girls
"AGHHH" Ky exclaimed before hitting the ground
Once the three girls stood up I got a good look on them there was one relatively taller than Ky with black hair and a really short one with glasses
"These are..." Ky looked at then expectantly
"Emma" the pink haired one said waving at me
"Emily" said the short one
"Milo" I said waving my hand lightly
"AHHH LOOK!" Emma screamed
"OHH MYYY" Emily screamed waving at Ky and i goodbye before running after Emma
"They're..." I began "loud, I know" Ky finished tapping me on the shoulder before motioning me to follow her
"So it's a small school, two buildings" she said holding up two fingers "the elementary slash I guess middle school building and this" she said pointing down "highschool building"
"Oh that's co-" I started before getting interrupted
"KY" a short guy screamed from across the hall
"LEE" Ky yelled back pulling me along towards a group of boys
"God I'm so tired from practice yesterday" The short guy named Lee said
"Ofcourse that's the first thing you say to me after break" Ky replied rolling her eyes
"Who's that?" Asks a guy who has fluffy brown hair a runners body and a little acne he was kind off cute
"Oh!" Ky exclaimed clapping her hands together "He's new his name is Milo"
Some of them wave to me, there's four guys here the short dude with a buzzcut that's Lee, the kinda cute guy who asked me the question standing next to a super tall guy with blond hair (gorgeous bod may I add) and a really tan guy with straight hair
"Uh Ky I've gotta go to the principals office before my class"
"Ah alright" she said turning slightly to look at me "see you at lunch?"
I nodded before walking away

"He should be on his way" I heard a voice say as I was approaching the office
"Um Hi?" I cringed at the Hi sounding like a question rather than a statement
"Ah lovely you're here" the principal clapped her hands
"Denise will show you too your classes for today" she pointed to a curly haired girl with tanned skin
"Hello!" Denise said cheerfully
"Hey" I replied while she walked me out of the office
"How's your morning been? Made any friends?"
"Yeah I guess I met this girl named Kyla" I replied playing with the hem of my shirt as we walked through the halls
"Kyla is such a sweetheart" she exclaimed putting a hand over her heart, she kind of reminded me of my grandma
"Mhm"
"So here is your first class!" Denise showed me classroom 102
"Thanks" I gave her a small smile
"You got it if you ever need anything let me know"
And so began my first day at my new school
