A few days passed since the Styles were over for dinner. After having that saddening conversation with Harry, I walked back into the dining room and looked at my lap for the rest of the dinner. Harry didn't bother talking to me for the rest of the night, but I didn't care. I knew I would've bursted into more tears if he did. Finally, they left after eating my moms dessert.

For the rest of that night, I sat on my bed refreshing the picture he posted of me. There was no caption but a bunch of comments saying how ugly I was or how I looked stupid when I cried. That night I fell asleep crying into my pillow.

Now, a few days later, I walked through the park in my town with my dog. I had nothing better to do so I decided to take him on a walk. It was sunny out so I wore my black shorts with a pink tank top. I had my blonde hair up in a messy bun.

I decided on going to the park to get my mind off of everything, but I couldn't help but to think of Harry. I didn't want our situation to be true but it was undeniable. We were far from being friends, even farther from being something more. I hated myself for still crushing on him, but I couldn't help it. Maybe he knew the way he made me feel when he bullied me, but it was something that had been happening for so long I doubt he even remembers what we were like before.

I took a seat on a park bench and let go of my dogs leash, letting him run free. I pulled my feet up and sat criss crossed; elbows leaning on my legs. I could hear laughing from a group of teens behind me but I refused to let myself look. It could easily be Harry and his friends and I didn't want to risk them seeing me. That wouldn't end well.

I squinted and watched my dog jump in the lake in front of me. I was actually considering jumping into the lake because it was so humid out.

"Claire?" Someone asked in a disgusted tone, causing me to still.

That was Macy's voice. My heart started to rapidly beat as I raked my brain for ideas on how to get out of this situation. I didn't have enough time though because two feet appeared in front of me and I didn't even need to look up to know it was Macy.

"What are you doing here, Claire?" she practically snarled.

I finally looked up, slowly. "Um. Walking my dog?"

She looked passed me and at her friends who I could only guess was Liam, Harry, and DeAnna. She giggled before waving them over. I wanted to get up and run but I knew they'd only run after me.

They all came into view, proving my guess right. All four of them stood before me with smug looks on their faces. My eye caught Harry's and we held contact before I broke and looked down.

"What do you guys want?" I unintentionally spit. It wasn't that I didn't want them to know I hated them, I just didn't want to get beat up.

"Watch the tone, whore." Macy spat back, leaning forward.

"Sooo Claire bear. How's daddy Styles?" Liam asked before they all snickered.

My face burned with anger and embarrassment. I looked up and met Harry's eye again, noticing how awkward he looked. He could barely hold eye contact with me. Maybe he regretted kiking me those things?

"I have to go." I whispered and stood up.

"Aww, but Claire, you didn't tell us about you and daddy?" Macy whined annoyingly.

"Whatever." I mumbled and pushed passed them.

I looked over my shoulder, my eyes catching Harry's. He looked annoyed by his friends but hid it well with a smug grin. I rolled my eyes and called for my dog.
