"Give it to me baby,  Uh huh uh huh,  Give it to me baby,  Uh huh uh huh,  Give it to me baby, Uh huh uh huh. And all the girlies say I'm pretty fly (for a white guy)" I sang along as my car radio blasted. I'm so excited for the debate today,  I've got this in the bag.  And Amelia will be there,  as always.  I do love that girl.

As I enter the building I don't see Amelia,  she is running late,  as always.  Oh well. The debate is about to begin,  I look around.  Still not there.  I'm getting worried,  but shake it off,  it's nothing.

When the debate is over they declared I won. I turn around to wave at Amelia,  but she is nowhere to be found. I shake my opponent's hand like we are supposed to do when we win.  We wish each other good game and leave. Amelia is nowhere to be seen.

I text her and call her a few times but she won't answer. I'm really worried now. I start to call her parents when they rush into the gym (where we were debating). "Is Amelia here? " her mother,  Martha said as soon as she saw me. "No,  I thought she was with you? " I said, trying to keep calm.  "Oh no" she cried, "Where could she be?"
