Two months later
Emilie's Pov
Today is Dustin's first birthday. I cant believe my baby boy is 1. Time has gone by so fast. Im so happy. I checked on the baby monitor and saw he was awake. I walked to his room and then turned on the lights. He stood up holding the bars of his crib.
"Happy Birthday Dustin Jay!" I said as I picked him up. I took him downstairs and handed him to Eric.
"Happy Birthday Handsome!" Eric said to him. He then set Dustin in his high chair. I then placed a pancake in front of him.
Lila's Pov
Its Monday. And its Dustin's birthday!! But I have school. I got up and got ready. Once I got ready I went downstairs. I stalked straight to Dustin.
"Hi Handsome. Happy birthday." I said giving him a kiss. "Can I have a kiss Dustin?" he looked at me opened his mouth and put it on my face gently and quickly. I then sat down for some pancakes. I quickly ate them then left.
Lunch
"Are you guys going to Dustin's party later?" I asked. They all nodded their heads.
"Whats the theme of the party?" Kathy asked.
"Its like a Royal family party. So basically you guys wear crowns and tiaras and thr girls have to wear a dress." I told them.
"Ok" they replied. The bell rang for 5 period. We then split up to go to our classes.
After school
We walked home together and then split up when we were close to our homes.
Later that night around 6:00
Everyone started showing up. Everyone was wearing dresses and the guys wore whatever with crowns and swords. Once everyone showed up, we started eating. There was pizza, and fried chicken, and spaghetti. Once we finished eatating we got to my room, like always. Then maybe 1 hour later, they called us to do the cake then his presents. Mom told me to go to Dustin's room and take him and Oliver downstairs. I opened the door and Dustin and Oliver were it the crib sleeping together. It was the cutest thing I've ever seen. I knew when they grow up, they're going to be best friends. I picked up Oliver, then Dustin. One was in each arm. Then James came upstairs to help me. I handed him Oliver. I changed Dustin into his prince outfit. Then brought him downstairs and placed him on his high chair. Then I went to the fridge to get his two cakes. One for smashing and one for us to eat. Then I placed it in front of him. We began to sing to him.
"Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday dear Dustin, happy birthday to you!" mom and dad helped him blow out his candles and then I took the picture. Ginny then nudged me.
"Get in there Lila. Take a picture with them."
"Um nah its ok. I dont really like picture." I said. Mom then motioned me to come over and take picture. So I ended up taking some with them. There's nothing wrong with picture because they're memories, but I feel like every pic Im in, i look horrible. We then had some cake. There was a mini cake that Dustin had and the bigger cake was for everyone else. Dustin smashed the cake and ate it. When he finished, he had frosting all over himself. It was awesome. After mom cleaned him up, we moved on to him presents. It was really hard for him to focus on one thing because he's still small, so I helped open his presents. He got really cute presents. He got blocks, clothes, toys, stuffed animals, and a drawing book. It was cute cause one of his toys were maracas and he kept shaking them. It was cute. And he was dancing with it too. After the party, we started cleaning up. The girls stayed and helped clean up. They also were sleeping over so Jen and Lana came back with clothes and their school things. Once the house was clean, we went to get ready for bed. Dustin was still awake after we finished so we brought him to my room. I tickled him and he laughed.
At around 10:30, mom said that Dustin has to go to sleep. The girls and I took him to his room.
"Goodnight Dustin. And happy birthday again." I said. I then kissed his forehead and the girls did the same. I rocked him to sleep. As he closed him eyes, I gently set him down and then returned to my room. The girls and I got the air mattress and set it up. It was Kaite and I on the bed and Kathy and Kenzie on the air mattress. We then slowly drifted off to sleep.
(A/N): hey guys. How are you doing? Guy this book is coming to its end. Im really sad. But dont worry, there will be a sequel. And it will start next week. Here's a question. Would you guys like to have the same uploading scheduled for the sequel or would like like a different one? Lemme know. Guys I dont know if the chapters are gonna be short in the next three chapters. So im sorry in advance. I know this one was a little short, but yeah. Oh and would you guys wanna long chapters like this in the sequel? Or would you rather have short chapters? Again lemme know.
