9:28 a.m
the phone rings while me and max are almost hanging off the bed
since she's still asleep i get up and answer it
"max...y/n?" i hear lucas ask
'yeah? it's y/n' i say confused
"wake max up and come over to makes asap" lucas says
'uh- okay.' i say then hang up the phone
"max wake up" i say shaking her
she groans in response
"max come on we have to go to mikes, quick" i say, shaking her harder
'okay, okay i'm up' she says sitting up'
we go in separate rooms to change then run outside
she kicks off onto her skateboard while i get on my bike
i get that feeling again, it's always when her hair is crazy in the wind. she looks so cool and beautiful, badass even.
we park in the driveway and run up to the door.
'hi mrs. wheeler- mike said we needed to come over?'
"oh yes! the boys are in the basement" she says moving out of the doorway
'thanks, bye' me and max say running in the basement
"okay, what's up this time?" i say out of breath
'the mind flayer...he's close'
i hesitantly look at mike, slightly scared
'c-close to..us?' max asks slowly
'yes..and el found whos building it' lucas says
i nod my head to tell him to go on
'billy.'
me and max look at each other quick, that's why he was acting like that the night he was at heathers.
'he took heather in.' i say to everyone, but mostly lucas
"there's only one other way to find out" mike says
"you said he likes it cold..right will?" i say to him
'yes.' he says nodding his head
"then let's give him the opposite." i say smiling, mostly at max to make sure she's okay with it. she nods in response
mike and lucas smile at me.
we head to the community pool and grab binoculars so we could see any suspicious activity from billy.
"he doesn't..look suspicious-" max says
'max, he's wearing a shirt. that's suspicious.' i say to her
max tilts her head, meaning 'you're right'
me and mike make a plan together to lock him into the sauna because usually 'he' likes it cold.
*time skip*
mike put a dummy in a closet as a rap because we are going to trap billy to see what is actually going on
'who's there!?' billy yelled while mike whisper-yelled at me, 'go go go go!' he slightly shoved me
mike starts to channel in on the party to tell them we got him tricked, 'he's in, over.' he said while he grabbed my hand, i got shivers...surely because of fright..
