"I'm so frustrated!" I complained while talking on the phone with Chloe, "Ugh! Parents are so infuriating!"

She, using her sarcastic tone, told me to calm down. "Matt, you're being dramatic. Just go to your room. I'll pick you up later." Chloe ended the call.

I opened my window a crack, as I usually do. Little did I know, she was already here?

My phone lit up and the message read, "I'm outside."

I really wasn't ready to see her; I had just gotten home from football practice. Needless to say, I was a mess. She came to my window and asked if I was ready. I told her I needed a shower.

"You smell bad all of the time," she giggled jokingly "I don't even mind."

Even though Chloe was just a friend, I always felt the need to impress her.

I climbed into the passenger seat of her car. Before I had the chance to put my seatbelt on, she was already driving. She doesn't wear seatbelts. It always made me a bit uncomfortable.

You see, Chloe is the type of girl that doesn't like to be held down. She's the type of girl that likes to be in control.
