I was listening to the song You Belong With Me by Taylor Swift, hoping that it would give me some courage to ask out Mark. He's been my best friend since kindergarten and I like him... I just hope he feels the same.

It's his birthday and I told him I had a special present.My best friend Rose is picking me up in a few minutes and all I have to do is put on a little bit of makeup and I'm good to go. I walk outside my house and hear Rose rose do a wolf whistle; she could make me happy any day. ' If I were Mark I'd kiss you as soon as you came in'. I laughed "Dido... now let's crash this party!" as I climbed inside her red Porsche.

Then we hear the song Tic Tok by Ke$ha. And we both say " And the party don't stay till we walk in!" This is going to be an awesome party.

We were in his backyard when we got out of her car, at the side of his house there was a huge staircase swirling down it was really amazing. Compared to house the seven dwarfs could live in there... and trust me my house is big.

I decided not to hunt down Mark until he made his 'grand entrance' or what he would like to call it. Then all these questions came into my head and I started to get nervous, "Do I look good? To much makeup? Oh my god why is it so hot in here? Will-"

Rose put one finger up to my face and said ' You look fine stop worrying...now shush Mark is making his grand entrance" it sounded like she was on edge, she'll tell me later.

Wow Mark really meant it when he said he was going to make a grand entrance. "Wow he looks smeky", Rose said; but then realization came over her face and she looked as if she was discusted about what she said. "Smeky what the hell is that?!" I exclaimed. "You know smoking and sexy....duh" she said it like everyone in the world knew what that is. Mark came down with smoke covering the stairs and he was was wearing a button- up shirt that hugged his mussels perfectly and he did look 'smeky' or whatever.

And he was coming straight to me but he was mad? Probably something before the party got him mad but that want going to stop me... you belong with me. I asked Mark if we could go somewhere private and he took us inside the empty house into the living room. "So what do you need Annie" his little nickname for me. Oh my god I'm going to explode like some kind of volcano I swear its one hundred degrees in here but Mark seemed just fine and a little....smug? Whatever okay how can I do this? So I was..... no that sounds to shy. I just realized I was staring in space but I was rocking, oh Mark was shaking me. " Annie you okay?" He said with concern. " Oh yeah I was just thinking about something, okay well I was wondering .... Will you go out with me?!"

" No" he said. The one word that would change my life forever.

weird fact 1: I scared some kids because I had to use the bathroom and was going crazy when I thought the door was closed awwww..... youngsters :p
