"You're that dog's wife, aren't you?"
A condescending voice sounded from behind Scarlett as she made her way across camp, a bag of medical supplies in hand. They were for Enid who'd just had to amputate Aron's arm after it'd been crushed underneath a falling log. Even though this incident wasn't purposeful, it'd been caused due to the carelessness of someone. That someone being the man that was trying to speak to Scarlett, Justin.
"Excuse me?"
The brunette questioned, stopping in her tracks and turning to face the pale long-haired male. He was a face that Scarlett'd seen around camp before, but not someone she'd ever interacted with; he was a former Savior. The man was a bit taller than her, adorning a white long-sleeve that'd been stained with dirt, and a pair of navy blue jeans.
"What's his name? Y'know, the greasy redneck with the crossbow. I've seen you kiss him, and you've got a ring on your finger. So either he's your husband or you're a cheater."
Justin said plainly, a shit-eating grin on his face as he crossed his arms over his broad chest.
"His name is Daryl, dumbass. You know his name, you're just bullshitting."
Scarlett replied in a defensive tone; she was already annoyed with this conversation.
"Do you need something, or are you just here to piss me off?"
She added when Justin opened his mouth to speak again, causing him to let out a breathy chuckle.
"Are you a cheater or not?"
He replied, ignoring Scarlett's words. Justin took a step towards the woman, his figure looming over her.
"No."She stated honestly, standing her ground as the male moved to stand a few inches in front of her. Her response caused the man to smile slyly.
"Do you wanna be?"
The long-haired male questioned simply, watching Scarlett's expression twist into one of disgust. His advances towards the married woman were uncalled for and sudden; Justin had never even spoken to Scarlett until now.
"Back the fuck off, dude! If you know I'm married, then why the hell are you trying anything?"
Scarlett said angrily, her voice raising. This garnered the attention of a few people in camp, their eyes now on both her and Justin.
"Just because you're married doesn't mean you wanna be. C'mon, let's have a little fun."
His tone shifted from asking to commanding as he grabbed ahold of the auburn-haired woman's arm. She tried to yank her appendage from his hold, but was unsuccessful since she still held the medical supplies within her grasp.
"Get off me!"
Scarlett shouted, trying once again to tear herself free.
This unwanted exchange was taking place only a few feet away from the medical tent, which was the brunette's destination. Scarlett's scream didn't go unheard, as several eyes gazed upon her and the situation that she was in. However, none of the bodies that those eyes belonged to ever once thought to help the pale woman.
"Not gonna happen,"
Justin said, his tone callus and full of greed. He took this chance to rip the bag of supplies out of his victim's arms, carelessly tossing it to the ground. Upon impact, shattering of glass could be heard from within the bag.
"No one's gonna stop me, an' you're gonna come with me. I'll make you a cheater."
The male threatened, strands of his long coffee-colored hair obscuring his vision.
