Year 7 - Quick Thinking By The Way

I was with Hermione as we got ready for this wedding I was in one of the suits my dad left me in his will he always had a thing about looking proper. I was putting the finishing touches to my suit when I heard a sound a the door it was Hermione and she was beautiful in her dress.  

"Wow you look beautiful," I said as I went and put my arms around her waist.

"Thank you and you look pretty handsome yourself," Hermione said.

"So you looking forward to tonight," I said.

"Don't you think this is all a little poorly timed," Hermione said.

"I don't know if I were to not know whether I would live to see tomorrow I would probably want to marry you as soon as too," I said.

"Really you mean you still want to marry me," Hermione said.

"Hermione I will always want to marry you," I said.

"Thank you," Hermione said.

"Any time, now we should probably get down there to help set up," I said kissing her head. 

"All together now! One! Two! Three! How is it going?" Arthur said as we used our wands to raise a gazebo. 

"Great," I called back. 

"Well, hell. What is the Minister of Magic doing here?" Ron said as we saw him walk over to us. 

"To what do we owe the pleasure, Minister?" Harry said.

"I think we both know the answer to that question, Mr. Potter. Herein is in said forth, the last will and testament of Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore. First, to Ronald Billius Weasley. I leave my deluminator. A device, of my own making. In hope when things seem most dark, it will show you the light." The Minister of Magic said.

"Dumbledore left this for me?" Ron said.

"Yes," The Minister of Magic said.

"Really. What is it?" Ron said.

"Here," I said taking it to show him how it worked.  

"Super," Ron said 

"To Hermione Jean Granger. I leave my copy of Tales of Beedle the Bard, in the hope that she finds it entertaining and instructive," The Minister of Magic said.

"Mom used to tell me those. The wizard and the hopping pot, Babbity Rabbity and the Cackling Stump ... Come on. Babbity Rabbity... No?" Ron said. 

"To Harry James Potter. I leave the snitch he caught in his first match at Hogwarts, as a reminder of the rewards of perseverance, and skill," The Minister of Magic said.

"And finally to Y/N L/N, I leave the deed to the land that holds my personal residence in the hopes that in the future that house will provide him with as much safety as it did me," The Minister of Magic said.

"Dumbledore left me his home," I said as I took the deed from The Minister.

"Along with all possessions found within," The Minister of Magic said.

"Is that it then?" Harry said.

"Not quite. Dumbledore left you a second bequest The Sword of Godric Gryffindor. Unfortunately, the sword of Gryffindor was not Dumbledore's to give away. As an important historical artifact, it belongs..."  The Minister of Magic said Hermione finished for him.

"To Harry. It belongs to Harry. It came to him when he most needed it in the Chamber of Secrets," Hermione said.

"The sword may present itself to any worthy Gryffindor, Miss Granger but that does not make it that wizard's property Unfortunately the current whereabouts of the sword are unknown," The Minister of Magic said.

"Hold on are you saying the sword is missing," I said.

"I don't know what you are up, to, Mr. Potter, but you can't fight this war on your own He is too strong," The Minister of Magic said.

Later the wedding was in full swing I was with Hermien off to the side as we had a privet talk about the house I was given before we decided to join in the dancing. We danced together and then we just switch partners as I danced with Fluer and Bill with Hermione it sure was a good time. Sadly it didn't last as after I had joined back up with Hermioen a blue fame bust into the tent and a voice appeared.

"The ministry has fallen. The Minister of Magic is dead. They are coming. They are coming," Said the voice. 

I grabbed Hermione and pulled Ron and Harry to us as the others ran away and then Hermione apparated us away too but only just we did have to dodge a bus. 

"Where are we?" I said and noticed it was a London street.

"Shaftesbury Avenue. I used to come up here to theatres with Mom and Dad. I do not know why I thought of it. It was the first thing to come to my head This way. We need to change," Hermione said as we dipped into an ally way.

"How the ruddy...?" Ron said as Hermione pulled some clothes out of a small bag.

"Undetectable Extension Charm," Hermione said.

"You're amazing, you are. Always a tone of surprises," I said before we heard a tumbling thud from the bag. 

"Ah. That'll be the books," Hermione said.

"What about all the people at the wedding? Do you think we should go back?" Harry said as we sat in a coffee shop.  

"They were after you. We'd put everyone in danger by going back," I said.

"Y/N's right," Hermione said.

"Ahem. Coffee?" A waitress said. 

"A cappuccino, please," Hermione said. 

"You?" She said look at us.

"What she said," Said Ron.

"Same," Harry said.

"Soda," I said.

"So where do we go from here? Leaky Cauldron?" Harry said.

"It's too dangerous. If Voldemort has taken over the Ministry, none of the old places are safe.  Everyone from the wedding will have gone underground, into hiding," I said.

"My rucksack with all my things, I've left it at the Burrow," Harry said as two guys walk in and Hermione gestured her bag.

"You're joking," Harry said.

"I've had all the essentials packed for days, just in case," Hermione said with a sigh. 

"By the way, these jeans, not my favourite," Ron said.

"Down!" I said as I recognised who just came in.

"Stupefy!" I said as we dove behind the table.

"Expulso!" Ron said.

"Petrificus Totalus," Hermioen said. 

"Go. Leave," I said as the waitress came out. 

"Lock the door, get the lights," Harry said.

"This one's name is Rowle. He was on the Astronomy Towerthe night Snape killed Dumbledore," I said seeing who was just attacked. 

"This is Dolohov. I recognize him from the wanted posters," Ron said.

"Quick thinking by the way," Hermione said and I nodded at her.
