Its a One-Shot Teehee

"You can't escape," his hoarse voice said calmly as he walked forward.
The man was huffing and puffing as he weaved through the trees, trying to throw this beast off his tail. He was really regretting not paying his whole debt immediately.
Suddenly, black tendrils closed around his abdomen, lifting him up violently. Only one of his arms were free.
Akutagawa kept the same calm walk, "I warned you..."
Gin was next to him, having originally been sent to dispose of this person. She had just ran into her brother a few minutes ago.
The man grimaced, "dang... this sucks..."
Rashomon squeezed him tighter.
"Welp, if I'm gonna die, might as well curse you before I go!" He pointed his hand towards Akutagawa and made a flicking gesture.
From the tips of his fingers formed a tiny golden orb that zoomed towards Akutagawa.
He raised his defenses, having Rashomon devour the space in between them. The orb passed right through it.
He faltered back and moved to the side to avoid the skill. It whirled in his direction no matter where he went.
Gin, her instincts kicking in, ran at the man and in one deft motion slit his throat.
Even as he died the orb still chased Akutagawa. He even tried slicing it, but nothing seemed to work.
Gin stepped in front of him with her arms out ready to sacrifice herself for her brother. Unable to react, Akutagawa watched as the orb went through her...
And came right out her back and into him.
Gin whipped around feeling that nothing had happened to her.
Akutagawa was clutching his chest with a scared look on his face.
Gin held her hands out but Akutagawa held up his own to stop her.
"We don't know what it is..." he said, sounding like speaking was difficult for him, "I don't... want you to get hurt..."
Gin took his arm anyways and called for Tachihara on the communicator.

The door burst open, "Akutagawa-senpai!"
Gin turned to find Higuchi in the doorway looking like she had just ran a marathon. She gave a small wave as she pulled her mask down. "He hasn't woken up yet, but he seems fine. We couldn't find anything wrong..."
"And we don't know what the skill is?" Higuchi asked, catching her breath.
Gin shook her head, "Hirotsu is going to see the boss personally... try to maybe figure out what the ability is..."
"He probably wasn't registered, considering he was underground..." Higuchi looked sadly over at Akutagawa, who seemed to be sleeping peacefully.
"He should wake up in an hour or so," Gin reassured her. "You of all people should know how tough he is."
Higuchi chuckled, "I know."

"A skill user, you say?" Mori's lips curled deviously.
Hirotsu nodded slowly, "yes."
"Word travels fast." Mori leaned foreword onto his laced fingers, "I hear that Akutagawa ended up helping Gin and getting hit with an unknown ability."
Hirotsu was silent as he waited for the mafia boss to continue.
Mori chuckled, "Akutagawa is a precious member, of course I've already looked into it." He held out an envelope to Hirotsu, "you may read through this, but put it with all the other files of the dead."
Hirotsu nodded.
Mori sighed, "his ability isn't very exciting. Though, it would have been incredibly useful for interrogation... what a shame... go ahead and look."
Hirotsu opened the file and read through his information. "A skill that makes people tell the truth?..."
Mori nodded, "too bad I hadn't known earlier. I would have tried to recruit him."
Hirotsu looked up to him, "you knew beforehand, didn't you?..."
Mori chuckled, "nothing gets past you, does it?"
Hirotsu shook his head as he closed the file.
"He wouldn't have joined, even if it was to pay off his debt. Apparently he had been used by a different organization." Mori sighed, "they were probably out to get him as well..."

"It's a truth ability?" Tachihara asked, "that's... I've never heard of something like that... it's so specific." He scratched his head, "and you said it went right through ya?"
Gin nodded, "and through Rashomon's space-eating ability..."
"Weird..." Tachihara said slowly.
Just then, Higuchi came running down the hallway, "have you seen Akutagawa-senpai?!"
Tachihara shook his head, "we were just going to see him..."
Higuchi panted, "he wasn't in the med-bay."
Gin's eyes widened, "he couldn't have gotten far. The painkillers will make him drowsy for a while."
"If we get a few others to help, we should be able to find him quickly!" Tachihara said as he ran off.
Gin nodded and headed in the direction Higuchi came in.
