-Robin's POV-
"We have a mission for you," said Jake, "something more dangerous than anything you've ever done."
I snorted.
"More dangerous? Come on, man. You do remember who you're talking to, right? Robin Muller, right here. I've been through a lot. Nothing can be more dangerous than what I've done."
"Just listen!" Jake snarled. "You ever heard of an organization called Zodiac?"
I racked my brains, then I shook my head.
"Nope. So what's so bad about them?"
"It's a group of assassins. I'm not kidding!" he said angrily when I raised my eyebrows. "This time, it's real. You know the event in Peru?"
I nodded. In Peru, more than one million people had been murdered, inclusing the president of Egypt.
"That was them. They're posing a real threat to the world, Robin. Please take this seriously."
"Taking this seriously, Jake. Chill. So what do I have to do?"
Jake leaned forward eagerly.
"This is when things get interesting. Apparently these assassins take their power from the animals of the Chinese Zodiac- rat, ox, tiger, rabbit, dragon, snake, horse, ram, monkey, rooster, dog, and pig. But they're a newly formed group. From our research... they're missing about four zodiac animals: tiger, rabbit, horse, and rooster. We want you" he jabbed his finger into my chest, "to disguise yourself as a recruit. We want you to tell us about the goals of Zodiac."
"So basically... I have to crossdress?"
"Yes."
"Awesome." My voice dripped with sarcasm, and if Jake noticed it, he didn't react. "So, shouldn't I know about the members now? You know... so I can be knowledgeable and all when I get there?"
Jake nodded.
"Right," he said, then he started walking towards the research lab. "follow me. We have all the info in here."
I hesitated slightly, then shrugged and followed him.
