I was so lost, I felt like a puppy that has been lost for so long and never found a home. I have always wanted a home, someone to be with, to share memories, to be your weird self with.  When I think of love I think there are some bumps but, worth every fight because you come back stronger than ever. I always wanted that strong bond with someone. Where do I find that for me? Am I looking in the wrong place?

"You should get out and party, get your mind off love for once" my best friend said. My best friend means the world to me but, she never gets my thinking or realizing I hate partying. "Listen you can go I will just stay and watch the newest series on Netflix or something. Don't worry about me I will be perfectly fine with my company Ben and Jerry's " I said, I just don't like the party scene. Never have. Never will.

The next day my best friend and I were in a coffee shop. "Should have been there at the party!!" my best friend said. "Oh, really. What did I miss?" I don't really care about parties but, this is her way of guilt tripping. "Derrick got so drunk and got into a fight" she said. "Thats why I am not missing anything at parties, fights in parties are not cool anymore." I said while looking at the menu. "You should try the Caramel Brulee Latte." Some guy said behind us, I didn't even look behind me. "Yeah, that sounds really good. Thanks" I said. I just then turn and find a handsome guy with glasses, dark hair looked kind of like superman, but super attractive.

"You should ask him out, I saw you looking at him when he mentioned the latte." my best friend said, "Me ask a cute guy out. Yeah, in your dreams he just suggested a drink and he has really good taste in coffee." The guy got his order and came over towards our table. "Wasn't I right?" He said starting conversation. "Yeah!! It's really good coffee..." before I got a word in. "Will you go out with her?" my best friend asked the mysterious guy, "Umm, that was quite out the blue" He laughed. "Sure, what's your number?" He said with sly smile.\

That smile started it all, I thought he was really cute. Maybe there is something there just don't want to be heartbroken again.
