A girl runs along the drive crying, only one shoe on because of the hurry. The house behind her is almost shaking from the noise issuing inside.
The girl has the sudden urge to run away, but then realizes that her only friend's house is over 100km away from her.
She runs to find her dog Lacy but to no luck.
