Connie chambers walked around holding onto a clipboard while looking down the list before she bumped into a staff member and then watched as the member turned around while looking at Connie and then grabbed the clip board.
"Ms chambers, please go back to your room." The staff member said while he looked down at his own set of paperwork. Connie then smiled and started to giggle before she turned around and ran away and stopped when she heard the alarm.
"Everyone we have a member of our family that won't play by the rules. And until that person goes back to bed you all can look for them and when you find them, you know what to do." A voice over the pa system said making Connie sigh and then started to head back to her room. The person watching her smiled as she knew that she made sure that they all knew what they were going to do to each other to scare each other into staying in line. Even though Connie never took the threats seriously and knew that the person was never going to let the others out just to find her.
"Told you that they were going to do that. But does anyone listen to me? No." Connie's roommate said as she walked in and went and ready for bed before there was a pounding at the door. Connie and her roommate looked at each other before Connie got dressed and then went and opened the door.
"Connie, please grab your clothes and then follow us." A masked military man said and watched Connie turn around and went into her closet as he patiently waited for her. Connie didn't know what was going on since she was never in this much trouble but knew that she had to play nice so she can go back to her room.
"Connie, you have made more trouble then anyone here. You will be in your own room but you will not have a roommate for a few months. Should give you enough time to think about how you have been behaving and how you will behave coming forward." The leader said before he grabbed and opened the door and then watched as Connie walked in. He then turned around and left with the group as Connie looked at her new room and then laid in bed.
"I was just trying to help people have some fun." Connie said to herself as she placed her head on the pillow and then went to sleep as she heard some crickets. She missed her home but knew that she was going to find a way out of the insane asylum that she was in.
"Wake up, inmate." A guard said as he knocked on her door waking her up breathing heavily as she looked around. She then rubbed her face and then got up and walked over to the door and then watched the guard look at her before starting to laugh at her.
"May I ask, what is so funny?" Connie asked as the guard slowly finished laughed before looking her in the eyes. Connie didn't move as she had waited for him to respond to her question before he then smirked.
"No you may not. But since you already did, I will answer you. You think your going to go out and join your friends. Well you aren't, your in solitary confinement. That means that no one can come out of these cells until we are told. And no one can visit." The guard said before he turned around as Connie also turned around and went back to her bed. She then heard the guard started to chuckle again before she looked up at the door feeling confused.
"Like a trouble maker like you even has some friends." The guard said before Connie lowered her head and then started to cry silently. She didn't know that she was hated that much, even though it was just drama that the guard was making so then he could try to get rid of her himself and gain a bigger paycheck.
"I hope you have a good time here." The guard said with a smile on his face before Connie went back to sleep. She made sure that she could sleep during the time so that she could get out faster.
"Hey, sleeping beauty. Wake up." The guard said as he pounding on the door waking her up a second time. She then groaned as she sat up and rubbed her head before watching a small hole in the door open and watched the guard pushing a brown paper bag and closed the hole.
"What is it?" Connie asked as she got up and went to the bag and then grabbed it and picked it up. The guard then started to mock her and then turned to look at her in the door and then sighed as he watched her look in the bag.
"It's your lunch. I let you sleep through breakfast. After you eat, your gonna write a paragraph about understanding what you did wrong and then you will stay here and then do whatever you want." The guard said as Connie looked at the food that she was pulling out. Connie then sighed quietly before she started to eat as she watched the hole open again and watched as a notebook and a pen gets pushed through before she reached for them. Connie then sat on her bed and then started to write why they didn't understand that she was feeling bored and tried to have some fun.
"Are you done with your food?" The guard had asked as he waited for her to respond while Connie looked up at him annoyed. She then grabbed the apple and then took a bite and started to chew.
"There you go." The guard said to himself as he smirked knowing what he was going to do to her that night even though he knew that he had to be safe. Connie then finished her paragraph and then slid the notebook to the door and watched as the guard took it.
"I'll give this to the boss." The guard said before he quietly read the essay and smirked as he closed the notebook. He knew that he had to help her feel like she was having fun even if she didn't enjoy it.
"Im done with my meal." Connie said before she jumped as she seen a hole in the wall and then thrown her trash in the hole. Connie took a deep breath and watched as the hole closed and then went back and sat on the bed again.
"That's good." The guard said before Connie shook her head deciding that she was going to stay quiet before she laid down and went back to sleep. She then woke up after hearing the guard pounding on her door and watched as the hole in the door opened and seen another brown paper bag being pushed in.
"Don't get cocky. Your not going to get a cookie." The guard said before the hole once again closed as Connie got up and grabbed the bag and took the food out and started to eat. She knew that if she wasn't going to get out soon then she was going to do what they say exactly how they wanted and knew that she was going to make life hell for them.
"Hey, inmate. Come on. Talk to me." The guard said as he turned and watched Connie eat her food while wondering what was going on. He then shrugged before he turned forward and then sighed as he had an idea to guilt her into talking to him.
"I guess I'm a little confused as to why you are silent. I thought you really liked me. This is a punch to the gut." The guard said as he looked forward as Connie stayed quiet while looking up at him. She knew that she didn't like him and knew that if she had talked then she would prove to him that she had liked him.
"Wow, you really must hate me. Don't you?" The guard asked before stopping as he heard a whistle from his bosses office summoning him. He then walked into the office scared as she watched him walk away and then sighed as she knew that he was gone before she got up and then threw her trash away.
"He's gone. Finally, I thought he would never leave." Connie whispered to herself before she turned around and got ready for bed and then yawned before getting quiet seeing a new guard outside her door. Connie then sat on her bed and watched as the guard turned to her and then looked at her with a straight face.
"I don't care if you want to talk to me or not. You are my inmate and you will listening to me. Now go to bed." The guard said before he turned back around before Connie silently pouted and then laid down. The next morning, Connie woke up to the guard pounding on her door and then sat up and watched the hole open as she didn't know what she was going to get. She then got up when she seen that her breakfast was being gently pushed through the hole and then watched as the hole closed.
"Wow, you are quiet. You must be finally closing your mouth before you get into more trouble." The guard said as Connie ate her food as she knew what he was saying. She then nodded as she looked out the window and seen that the night would be a full moon before she went to the door.
"Can I make a request?" Connie asked as she looked at the guard in the eyes and then watched as the guard shook his head and then turned around. He then started to laugh as Connie took a step back and then placed her hand on her right eye and looked at the guard marking him before she moved her hand and then went and laid down again.
"Like a prisoner like you has the right to make demands." The guard said laughing harder as the sky outside turning dark making the other inmates start to scream in fear. The guard then started to groan on discomfort as a black shadow headed towards him before he looked around.
"What is that?" The guard asked as a hand reached out of the shadows and for the guard as Connie sat on her head watching him through her left eye. Connie then laid down as the hand grabbed him and threw him out of the window.
"Woah!" The guard yelled as he hit the bars on the window on the other window of the other wall as the other girls scream in fear seeing his now lifeless body fall to the ground. Connie then groaned and then sat up and rubbed her head before the shadow went away.
"I really need to sleep." Connie said to herself as the other girls temporarily lost their voices for the night before Connie laid back down. She then closed her eyes and then went back to sleep as a team of people went to her cell and then opened her door. They signaled to each other to take her to one of the lower cells as they weren't going to risk another guards life.
"Hurry up, men." The boss whispered as he followed the group and then quietly unlocked and opened the door and watched as they walked in. He then smiled as he watched the group walk out of the cell befote quietly closed the door and then went back to work with them all.
