Her hair hung down her back in a french braid, studded throughout with pearl hair pins. A beautiful diamond necklace hung around her neck. Chandelier earrings dangled from her ear lobes. On her right wrist was a gold bracelet. I hope Michael likes what he sees, she thought. A horn sounded outside. Taking a deep breath, (your name) picked up her clutch and headed out...
LATER THAT EVENING...
Michael tapped on a champagne glass. "May I have everyone's attention, please?" he asked. Everyone looked at him. God, he's so handsome, (your name) thought to herself. Dressed in a red tux, he looked like heaven to her.
Looking straight at her, Michael asked "(your name), will you please join me in the middle of the dance floor?" Her curiosity peaked, (your name) set down her champagne and joined him. Smiling, Michael looked over his shoulder and nodded at Thomas. Thomas pushed a a button on the stereo system, and Michael's hit The Lady In My Life began to play. (your name) now realized that everyone was getting out cameras.
"Michael, what's going on?" asked (your name).
Taking her hands in his, Michael asked, "(your name), you know I love you, don't you?"
"Yes." said (your name).
"And I hope you love me the way I love you." said Michael.
"Of course I do, Michael." said (your name). "You're everything to me."
Steeling his nerve, Michael said "I was wondering... if you'd be my forever girl." He reached into his pocket and pulled out the little black velvet box.
"Oh, Michael." said (your name). Tears of joy began to well up in her eyes.
Getting down on one knee, Michael opened the box to reveal a (your favorite color), heart-shaped diamond ring. He asked "(your full name), will you marry me?"
"Yes, Michael. A MILLION TIMES YES!" cried (your name), the tears spilling over as she held out her left hand. Cameras started flashing as Michael stood up, pulled the ring from the box, and slipped it on (your name)'s finger.
Scooping (your name) up in his arms, Michael shouted "SHE SAID YES!" Cheers and applause were heard all around.
